I like the idea of playing both Rudy and Roy in the backcourt. offer the Magic Steve Blake for Hedo. they lost Alston in the Vince Carter trade. Roy, Rudy, Hedo 1/2/3 is probably enough point-guard-skills even if without a true point-guard. Just two of them with Bayless/Batum/Outlaw is also OK, just gives us another look.

you don't need to trade for turkoglu, he is an unrestricted free agent.

You ask why lose Blake when you can get Turkuglu for just cash? well, for two reasons: 1) I'm hearing some other teams are throwing big sums of money and we would, in this scenario lose Blake's contract (Or Outlaw) which gives us more money to offer. 2) It would free up minutes for Rudy and he would learn how to play with Turkuglu.

It would give us about 4 million to work with and no starting point guard.

    Pass.

I'm pretty sure you don't understand the concept of free agency, and why would the Blazers act like they don't have the cap space to sign Turkoglu by accepting a sign-and-trade for their starting PG? It makes no sense.

One positive in moving Rudy would allow us to play Bayless to his strengths at SG.

IMO, Bayless should play a role similar to how Chicago used Ben Gordon.

OK I'm coming into this one a bit late.

Are there any quotes from Rudy in regards to this matter?

If not then this is all bullshit.

The Spanish media are absolutely full of this kind of crap.

    Just ask any soccer fan.

And so the predictable happens, and the Blazers join the ranks of countless past teams who rebuilt through the draft only to piss it all away to please their impatient coach who wants a title without earning it.

Nate has proved to be totally inept at "teaching", especially in the PG department. No player on the team seems to have learned much since Nate arrived and his limiting of PT for our more athletic, creative players has cost us development as a team and window-time ain the contender department.

His total tanking in the playoffs was embarrassing and confusing for some of the players I'm sure, as he threw out the season's progress and failed to establish a lineup, an offense, or even a game plan for winning the series.

Rick Adelman made him look like a Mary Kay saleslady in the coaching department.

KP should have sent Nate down the road a year ago. Instead it appears Nate is now calling the shots and is systematically getting rid of KP's picks by limiting their PT and limiting their success.

Anyone who thinks Hedo is more valuable to this team than Sergio and Rudy would have been in the long run doesn't know the game.

I really thought KP could last but he's drunk the Nate Kool Aid now.

I usually ignore your schtick, but this needs a response.

There is no right way to "earn" a title. Ask Celtic fans if they feel bad that their team team gambled on aggressive trades. Ask Laker fans if they are sorry they added Gasol and Ariza instead of building around Bynum.

The slow, methodical approach is neither morally nor practically superior!

Oh BTW...if Nate really is "impatient" - good for him! The organization needs a little more of that!
