i think depends on game 3

1 more chance for rudy... and batums health.

if rudy sucks... its webster at sg and batum at sf

if batum is out... its rudy at sg and webster at sf

only way i think rudy keeps starting depends on batums health

Not much longer in my opinion. If the Suns continue the trend of sticking Nash on our SGs rather than Miller (why wouldn't they?) than we simply have to make them pay for it. If we can't take advantage of that match-up, there is simply no way we can win the series. Our offensive mismatch is whoever Nash is guarding, plain and simple. If Rudy can't take advantage of that, he doesn't deserve to play.

Sergio anagram = Sir Ego. Only noticed that because of Mixum's odd capitalization.

    This.

I think that he can still be a weapon, but he needs to get his head back in the game, and FAST.

Pretty sad how fast you all turn on players because they aren't playing well. You were all ready to run Webster out of town a month ago when he was in the same slump Rudy is in now.

Oh wait, I forgot Rudy doesn't care :NOTMARIS::NOTMARIS::NOTMARIS:

    SPAN-****? Really?

Spant-**** busted me up. I have no idea why. Kind of ashamed of it, actually.

Anyway, even more depressing than his defense and his horrid shooting is seeing him with the ball and only Steve Nash between him and the rim, and he passes it off to somebody else. My god, if you consider yourself too well covered because Steve Nash is in your way, geez....

The use of "span-****" was a bit below the belt.

As for turning on players - for the better part of 10 years, Blazer "fans" have ignored what was happening on the court in favor of nattering about character/personality issues. IMHO, the fact that more people are starting to focus on what is happening on the court is a *good* sign.

Sorry, but pro sports are supposed to be Darwinian.

Rudy has pretty much sucked all year though! Not just for a month like Webster plus Web at least puts effort on the defensive end. I never wanted to see webster off the Blazers this year. But I will admit I was disappointed in Webster. Rudy going to have to play amazing basketball for the rest of the series if he want to stay a Blazer.

The more consistent players that are on your team, the more consistent your team will be. IMO we have about 3 inconsistent players left on the team. The sooner they are gone and replaced with guys who show up every night, the sooner the Blazers move to the next level.

Guys that get paid millions of dollars to put an orange ball through a hoop are fair game for criticism. And if Webster hadn't pulled his head out of his arse and started producing again we'd still be wanting him gone.

It's harsh, but it is what it is.

For the record, I am personally tired of him complaining about minutes and then producing shit a majority of this season.
last year he shot .425 from the field
this year he shot .378 from the field
Although I guess his minutes have gone down from 25 to 23.

well consider he was playing decently earlier in the season, so that average was probably much higher before and is now brought down by his play in the last two months.

In reanalyzing my post here, I decided to look something up

Brandon Jennings shoots .371 from the field and .374 from the 3line.

Rudy shoots .368 from the 3line. Perhaps I am being too hard on him :sigh:

Jennings at least can create for other people with his dribble

Also, the little troll in me says that Rudy is throwing his game off on purpose to get the hell out of here.

Spantard should go back to Real Madrid. He looks lost offensively and defensively. He used to steal the ball, block shots, rebound, but now he just wanders around the floor like he is lost.
