I can't believe Detroit will part with Darko. I'm going to laugh when Darko becomes an All-Star. Joe Dumars will kicking his on butt.
Samuel Dalembert was not expected to be great like Darko plus Dalembert probly worked hard to get better Darko is and always has been lazy just ask the piston fans. Darko will never become an all star. (IMO)

I say he's worth a shot.
Detroit needs to clear cap room to resign their core group of players. Darko wasn't going to be resigned and they don't need Arroyo. I doubt Cato will even play a lot of minutes with the Pistons frontline being so strong. The key to this trade will be the draft pick that Orlando gives up.
The cap room should really be enough. Darko isn't playing anytime soon on that Detroit team. The Magic should make sure their pick is lottery protected. Imagine if the Pistons end up with a lottery pick along with cap space? The Magic should learn from the Knicks and always protect a draft pick.
Some people on Realgm say it's complete and that some radios have said the deal was complete. So I'm just waiting on them to announce it on the Magic broadcast!
