Or he's trying to not get traded....he knows we won't sell low on his trade value....he puts up 14 pts a game to blend into the landscape and stay off the rumor mill! That or he's trying to jump start the role players into making shots and stepping up

I think the Lillard injury rumors are true. Nearly every time Lillard has had a "slump" especially late in the season (I know it's early, but he played in Olympics) he's been injured. If he needs to sit a bit due to a minor surgery. DO IT!

Shit Record? .500 seems about right to me. Unless you expected winning 50+ games you should be happy.

He is.. that’s why we always have these debates with him. Then he goes on a super hot streak which makes everybody say “ohhh dame is finally healthy again!” Then of course the big drought comes, the “omg dame is injured” excuses comes

    great leader tho

.500 isn't going to get it done. If you're happy with .500 then I'm guessing that you're expecting to be trading Dame by the end of the year.

to start the season with a new coach .500 for the first four games is fine. For 82? Of course not.
But to say going two and two to start is shit, is not really.. realistic?

I expect this team as comprised to end up at .500 or slightly better by years end. I predicted 41-41 but moved that prediction down from 45 wins.
I agree neither will get it "Done" if you are expecting Championship. This team is not going to win a Championship this year. Yes there is a PERIOD at the end of that statement.
Losing Dame? The way things are playing out right now are we really worried about Dame leaving when he would be the first to admit he is one of, if not the main reason they are .500? I just cannot see someone demanding to be traded when they have not played well enough to demand anything. Let him play better and they might win a few more games.

    Winning a championship? No.

Being in the mix? Yes. That's what Dame expects. Being .500 isn't being a contender by any definition.

Then Dame better start playing better. Then Dame can expect all he wants.
Even with him playing better they will not be "In the Mix" this year. Not the way I see it.

Dame is not streaky. That's just a myth you made up in your skull and since you are looking for it you have confirmation bias.

Dame has shot 38 for 109 thus far this season. That's would count as a "famine", yes? Dame has done that 236 times in his career up to last year. A coin flip with 44% heads (Dame's FG%) and 56% tails will likewise "famine" over 300 times in the same length career.

    So Dame is ANTI streaky!
    Go Dame!
