Meh; Call me crazy, but I'd rather have Blake. At least he wont shoot the ball backwards 3 feet from the rim.
Turnovers with young players shouldn't bother you or anyone else (Hollinger has done a lot of statistical analysis on this) The questions you want to ask are if a player is productive when they are in there, or are they overwhelmed? Are they physically able to hang with guys and do they improve with time or get worse with time? To me I'm more curious about his field goal percentage and his assist and steal rates rather than his A/T ratio.
If that is all we can get for dumping failton, then yes..... Felton freaking sucks. Might as well get someone that can actually shoot towards the rim and keep the ball secure, than the opposite.... that is if this is the only option we can get....
No, if that is all we can get for Felton, we bite the bullet and let his contract expire. Blake = net negative.
At this point Blake sucks as much or more than Felton. Watch him sometime, he's two steps from the glue factory.
Glue factory = best analogy on Blake. Bledsoe = decent return if we can get a pick; even taking on gome.
is this really the best they/we can do? fuck, its worse than i thought. how does any of this shit make it through the vetting process? read out the 'past players hitlist' everyone nods and accepts mediocrity? feels like it...
cause Blazers mgmt are gambling addicts and love throwing quarters into the Blazer PGOTF slot machine
Scouting Augustin vs. NO right now. He doesn't look that bad. Making the right reads. Has a good control for the game. I've seen him make better passes to guys after breaking down the D in the first 10 mins of this game than I've seen Felton do in the past 4 months.
