Sure it does. Blazers receive Lakers' TPE for Felton. Then Lakers receive Blazers' TPE for Blake. Very simple.
They are all legit rumors, and nothing more. He is not making anything up. Just stuff that has been posted by websites over the years
Actually I think Crawford for Beasley would be one of the better moves POR could make, PROVIDED they follow it up with dealing Wallace..... Beasley is ony 23 years old, he has potential, his contract is up this year, so you can test him out and if he completely flops let him walk, just like you would have let Crawford walk, and I think if you like him, you might be able to resign him for a fairly good deal. He has a history of irratic behavior, obviously a concern, but all reports I have seen from MIN say that he is a hard worker and good teamate.... Talent\youth\possibility to sign for a modest deal is good....He is worth the risk IMO.... Now what can POR get for Wallace? I think a deal with HOU could be had....Maybe ORL? What other teams?
Get beasley. If Orlando is set on keeping Dwight, send them Wallace for their pick this year, with redick and orton or somehting, if no better deals come along
If we were to get Beasly, then I don't mind Felton, Matthews and Wallace three-way with Phoenix and Orlando. Orlando seems to really want Nash so they can keep Howard. We could probably get their pick as well. Here is a nice deal I guess
Well, that would certainly improve our outside shooting. However, I don't see Orlando giving up their 2nd, 3rd, and 4th best players for Nash.
I think Matthews would be an upgrade for them. The components would help them on the defensive end. Their new starting 5 looks damn good on paper too. Nash, Matthews, Turk, Baby and Howard. Matthews and Howard would be the defensive anchors. I think if Matthews gets his shots in rhythm, he would be a much better shooter. And having Nash and Howard demanding so much attention, would leave him wide open.
My thought was less about Matthews/Redick than about giving up Anderson to get Nash. However, if that's the cost of being able to keep Dwight, then obviously that's a move they would want to make.
Another rumor is Toronto interested with trading with Portland for Calderon. I don't know if this wouldn't be such a bad idea. Obviously if Rondo or Nash are out of the question.
I'd do hill or collison, highly doubt they would. Maybe their 1st? Hansborough? I can't see them actually trading for Jamal with anything of value.
He has a year left after this one. But if we trade G for him, and G decides to opt in, then we don't really lose out. Lots of ifs though.
