This is a bit of a ho-hum deal (if it happens). Boone is a mediocre big man, at best, but since we're likely losing Frye, S-Bo and Ruffin, we have a need for a mediocre big - if for no other reason, just to have enough big bodies to scriimage 5-5 at practice. Boone would not be my first choice (or even my 31st) as our back-up 4, but as a 3rd string 4/5, he'd be OK. If it does happen, it suggests that Pritchard is targeting a PG in either the draft, or as a free agent, or possibly another trade. Not a big shocker, but I don't see him giving up Sergio unless he's confident he'll be able to acquire a PG. I don't see us going into the season with Blake and Bayless as the only PGs on our roster. Sergio's best year, PER wise - was his rookie year - I do think he got better between year 2 and 3 - and he is a slightly better player today than he was before - but that is damning with a very faint praise....
