<div class="quote_poster">Quoting bruin007:</div><div class="quote_post">Yes that was my earlier opinion but as the players have come in for workouts his draft stock has been on the rise from what GM's and insiders are saying. Farmar has shown to be a first round pick. Looking at the pg available/declared eligible for the draft I definately think there's no competition and he will be a first rounder I still believe Aaflalo is late second at best. Man you do your research well but no way should farmar get passed on by so many teams. As they see him play and compare him to the available guards he will be taken.</div> here are a list of point guards that IMO, should be drafted higher than farmar. marcus williams, rodney carney, rajon rondo, randy foye, quincy douby, shannon brown, and maybe mardy collins. we all have different opinions, and let me start by saying, i by no means disrespect yours, or disrespect you as a poster. but everyone is entitled to their own opinion. i have mine and you have yours. you think that farmar has enough talent to go in the first round, and you have backed it up with your own explanations. though i do not agree with some of them, i have backed up my opinions as well. and trust me. i HAVE done my research. all in all, i just dont think farmar has what it takes to be anything special in the nba. he can obviously prove me wrong, since i am just a 15 year old who just happens to love basketball, and not basketball guru. but i just dont see that happening. especially on the lakers, who want big point guards who can hit the three, which is the opposite of farmar. anyways, i respect your opinion, and i guess we will first have to wait to see if he even declares for the draft or not before we start talking about when he will get drafted. lol
The mock has been updated once again. Give me your feedback about what you like/don't like, I'll take it into consideration for the next update. Click the link for the second round picks.
i think there is a couple of problems here. i dont see randy foye falling that low, and i would kill myself if the sixers draft rondo before guys like carney and shannon brown. i think rondo is a reach, even though he has done well in his workouts. also, i dont see the rockets passing up carney. from what i have read, they are having a love fest with him. and also, im pretty sure the bulls will take douby with their 16th pick. didnt they already pretty much guarantee him or something? btw, im loving the lakers second round pick of sun yue.

I like his game and his talent but no other teams need a combo guard. Carney's stock is falling, hes shooting well in drills but in 2 on 2's hes getting shut down, I think come draft time he'll fall below Brewer and Ager. Nothing I can say to you about Rondo I guess, its just your opinion, I personally think Philly would love to get him. They already have Iguodala at the 2 so Brown wouldn't make much sense, Carney is extremely similar to Iguodala as well. I've also heard rumors that the Bulls have promised to take Douby with the 16 but I tihnk its BS. Why would they make a promise to a mid-1st round guy when theres still almost a month left of workingout other players? It doesnt make sense to make a promise to a guy when they've still got plenty of other players to work out. Plus they have a ton of combo guards, it wouldnt make sense to much sense to add another.
