I think I'll throw in some interesting notes from time to time. Best undefeated home starts for the Blazers: 1977-78: 26-0 (first loss on Feb 12th) 1976-77: 16-0 (first loss on Dec 18th) 1998-99: 9-0 (*strike shortened season, started late) 1990-91: 8-0 (first loss on Nov 27th) 1985-86: 7-0 (first loss on Nov 17th) 2008-09: 7-0 (current)
I should mention that Portland had won 18 consecutive games at home at the end of the 1976-77 season including the playoffs that you could append to the 26 straight to start 1977-78. So that would have been 44 consecutive home victories.
I don't know what you are talking about. Math isn't my strong suit, but after 22 games, we should be 22-0! I hope KP is cookin up at least 5 trades before the All-Star break so we can finish the season with a 60 game winning streak.
New rankings up. (see first post) Worthless stat of the day: That was the 23rd game of the season. Before the Orlando game, Portland had won their previous 11 game #23s, even through the dark times.
