The fact that they've scored 3 more points then they've given up is a little weird for an 11-5 team if you ask me.
No. I'm not talking about one player beating a whole team I was just commenting on what you had said about spying Vick and forcing him to beat you with his arm. Which he can do. However it will be a total team effort to beat the Eagles, Dunn and Duckett can rush the ball very well also and will rush the ball well on Sunday. 3 more points I dont really care. They won more than they lost right? Thats what matters and 11-5 is a great record not like I expected you to give the slightest bit of respect or credit to their record or anything they've accomplished during the regular or post season anyway. So we can leave it at that.
Since Trotter moved the MLB the Eagles are letting up about 95 rushing yards a game. I made this clear in a post long ago that our rushing defense is no longer a weakness, and is now a strength. You think Vick can beat our secondary with his arm? I'd like to see him try when he's staring at 3 pro bowlers covering his team (Shepard, Dawkins, Lewis). Then he'll have another pro bowler spying him with his 1 foot long hands and blazing speed for a d-linemen (Kearse). Then another pro bowler stuffing the middle to shut down the rest of the offense (Trotter). My prediction is a defensive game with the Eagles coming out on top. The Falcons posted good numbers, but it was against the RAMS! 29th rushing defense in the NFL. Eagles defense is alot better compared the Rams, passing and rushing. Eagles 31 Falcons 17
With all his rushing numbers, Vick only has 3 rushing TD's this year, that's same as McNabb. I cannot wait till this game!!!
Enough Pro Bowler talk already that means nothing. Great the Eagles have like 9 Pro Bowlers or whatever it is but that doesnt mean shit. Any given Sunday buddy. We'll see exactly how everything goes down this weekend. I hope you end up eating your words because there is nothing I would enjoy more than to see your precious Eagles lose 4 in a row.

Any QB can get rushing TDs from the 1 or 2 yard line, Vick can run them from the 40. If you are going to say McNabb didnt run them from the 1 or 2 yard line, I dont care because he still doesnt run like Vick nor will he ever. Plus if Vick had anymore rushing TDs it would just give you something else to bitch about, that he is a QB and shouldnt have so many rushing TDs. Make up your mind.

And that game came after we got shellacked by the Chiefs. We came back that next week and SMASHED the Broncos and will SMASH the Eagles! I don't usually talk so much smack about my team but they just looked AWESOME last weekend - no matter if it was the Rams (whom, by the way, were picked by just about every spotscaster and non-Falcon fan).
Both of you guys are in for a rude awakening. Jim Johnson is the best Defensive Coordinator in the game, and he is best at taking the team offensive strength out of the equation. Daunte Culpepper is a superior QB to Michael Vick, and we made him look pretty ordinary. I think this article makes a very good point. http://www.philly.com/mld/inquirer/sports/10668597.htm I just cant wait.
Just so you guys all know....you both beat 8-8 teams last week....not impressive at all...just something that should be done. Oh and the vikes had basically no Moss so that makes them even more pedestrian and well the rams are hadicapped by their coach anyway...its tough for him to put in a good game plan 2 weeks in a row.

That writer can go !@#%$#!#%. The BETTER QB is in the NFC Championship game. Do you think that Culpper, Manning, Brees, Green, Bulger would rather have their "wonderful" pasing stats or be playing for a championship? Thought so. Also, MV is not the whole team. We PROVED that last week when all facets of our game clicked. I love it that our QB doesn't have to pass for hundreds of yards - he takes what the D gives him. Just imagine how good this team will be when he does begin incorporating the passing game...getting goose bumps just thinking about it.

Just kidding... Normally I wouldn't be that happy about us beating an 8-8 team but the MANNER IN WHICH WE HANDLED THEM is what impressed me the most. Especially since they were 12-4 last year and were the purported "greatest show on turf". I'll take that win!

I just don't see Dunn or Duckett having a good day especially against the pats or steelers because I have watched alot more (pats/steelers) games than eagles, and maybe vick would break one to inflate his numbers but other than that I think he will have a tough time finding consistency against any of the 3 teams mentioned.
I'm going to crack up on Monday. The Vikings offense will try to attack us on the ground, and it won't work at all. Then Vick will be forced to throw the ball, and then that's the end of the game. Once the Eagles go up early, which they will, the game is sealed.
Even if the Eagles come out on top this Sunday which I'm not so sure they will, you WILL lose in the Super Bowl and then I will be the one crackin up. Then atleast the Falcons didnt lose in the Super Bowl. We'll see.

The reason he didn't pass for more is because HE DIDN'T HAVE TO. The offense took what the defense gave 'em and you can't argue with the results. No way will we run for 327 yards this game but we will still put up some yards. By the way, "inflated" or not - the yards still count the same.
