For sure! Rupert is the best Blazer of all time! Should be the face of the franchise and will lead the Blazers next year to an NBA Championship! Only needs 30 mpg to make every dream come true!
It's not about Rupert's sample size. It's about the sample size of Walker, Camara and Murray. All they have shown from the 3-point line is either dreadful or inconsistent. How much more do you need to see? If the Blazers want to have a good team, you can't have several crappy 3-point shooters in your rotation. If there is any player that can defend and hit corner 3-pointers at a good rate, they should be prioritized to get a chance to see what they can do.
Must really be an awful season to have big debates over which low level bench scrub "needs big minutes".
Rupert did a good job being a problem at times for SGA. Not bad for a 19-year-old with very little experience. Playing time has to go to someone. 1) give the playing time to someone who's 23/24 years old shooting less than 30% on threes. 2) give the playing time to the 6th youngest player in the league, a 6'7" small forward shooting 46% on threes so far.
SGA was literally hunting and cooking Rupert on switches LOL. I mean, it's SGA, so it's expected, but let's not act like Rupert did a good job.
At least with Rayan, he has potential to be more than Babbitt ever thought he would be. But yeah, for some reason fans over-react to players showing some promise.
