Also for the record, 2009 is an anti Ranger guy who pretty much hates everything Sather does and all the moves the team makes. Let's make sure we get that on the record also when you say you miss Boyle, and Stralman, and Dubi, and so on. And call TB the favs and say they will beat us.
I am saying it wasn't a loss we haven't easily overcome. That is how I feel about B. Boyle. Sure he is better than Glass. I would even say for the extra 500 K + a touch more he is the better value, but I don't think we miss him at all. Glass hasn't been a disaster in the playoffs, Fast stepping in has really helped, and Sheppard now playing C on the 4th line has helped as well. I don't see B. Boyle as any major loss.

Chuck, First of all I am not anti Rangers and please do not call me that. I love my Rangers and watch every single game of the season. I do disagree with Sather on some moves that he makes, not all. I do believe into if it is not broken don't fix it. I don't like Sather's fascination with free agents as many of us do. I was against Nash trade, yes and so far Nash hasn't shown us anything that proves me or anyone else otherwise. Strallman was great in the playoffs last year and he signs and old guy for the same money. Why? Fine, I saw past that. I think Hayes was tremendous signing and I understand that is why B.Boyle is not here and I choose Hayes all the way. I think Fast proved me wrong. Tampa is the team that I was most concerned about going into the playoffs due to our season record against them, and Bishop's success against us.
I think the winner of the Caps/Ranger series will beat TB in the ECF. I don't trust Bishop. I do think it will be a long series, and that TB is a very good team. I also think they clinch that series tonight.
Yes, and playing a game 7 in Montreal is not something I would be looking forward to. Kind of a have to win tonight for TB.
Uh TB is not favored to win the cup 2009, NYR were the favorites by Vegas at start of the playoffs. If both make the ECF that isn't changing I don't begrudge Cally for leaving but I am glad we are not paying him 6.5m a year for 5 more years

I am also very sure you know there is no state income tax in Florida, so the value of a contract down there is more than in Buffalo, NY.
