1) So we're always going to have to click on quick reply? That's kind of a bummer. 2) Having a "mark all threads read" link on the view new posts page was a great idea on this site. Hopefully it shows up on the new one.

And the usercp seems kind of inconsistent as far as subscriptions go. It will only automatically upload the unread subscriptions. To see the already read ones, you need to click the view all link.
The vB3 installation on the new site is plain vanilla. There are lots of sites out there with downloadable modules, plugins, and code modifications to achieve a lot of nifty things with vB3. If there's no way to configure "mark all threads read" then we'll find a way.

The only way to see those old threads then would be if they became updated again(via bumping them with new posts) or just by clicking on the "view all" link
^^ You should be able to. I do know that I have to look into why the chinese characters aren't showing up properly.
Fixed the chinese characters problem. L - you'll be happy to know that if you click on "Qlinks", there's a menu item for "Today's threads" which is exactly what you want. Shows threads even if you've read them. GMJigga - you'll be happy to know that on the Qlinks menu, there's a "mark forums read" function.
Panel allows you to layout different "blocks" of content in various arrangements. Once you create a panel, you tell it what to put in each location of the layout. Feel free to try making one and doing things with it. I tested them out a week ago and they're pretty cool. Dunno if they do anything with the vb3 content tho. I'm thinking we'd use panels to create landing pages for teams and sports.
Is the PM inbox size allowance going to change? I have 422 PM's but on the new site I'm only allowed 50... yeah I'm a lazy bum
whoops, not as bad as I thought, only 90 are in my inbox, the other 332 were in my sent box.. they're gone now
