Most people use U-Stream to broadcast live streaming video if that is what you want. Or a simple podcast would be fine. We would be willing to promote it, give it it's own forum, announce it on and off of the site each week.
Like I said I can provide audio recording equipment to make the podcast. If people want to do this just let me know a time and I will set it up. HCP could you pull some strings and get someone to call in? It's cool for all of us to talk but it would be better if we had some guests. I can take calls and there is enough room for a few people if they want to get involved. Was it ABM that set up the Wheels meet and greet? Could you make a call and see if he would come on?
Intersting idea . . . I would listen. But isn't this board kinduv like a podcast. Bunch of guys giving their opinion with the ocasional guest apperance by Rise_with_Us or King Speed and our residential celeb apperances by HCP.
The studio I can use is in Gresham, has everything we need and more. I can make an intro if we want it and play any kind of music as well. Has phone lines that are tied in as well. Any day but Tuesday or Thursday works for me. It's all ready to go, I actually do a sports talk show locally on Wednesday evenings. Hey Denny or Truebluefan what would I need to do to push it up to your server?
I'm down as long as you don't try to put The HCP on a meat hook in your basement and make a skin suit out of him!
Check with U-stream and give us the code. We will make a forum for it and post it here. Similar to the Sports Session.
The u-stream stuff looks pretty slick. You can do a live call in kind of show and there's a live chat so people with WWW browsers can interact with you while the show is on the air. It then archives the shows so people can listen after the fact.
I got a ustream channel set up. I will be in the studio tomorrow to make sure the video works but I think its all ready to go. HCP could you hook up an interview? If not let me know so I can try another direction.
I'd love try to do some commentary. I've been trying to get time to build a halftime-esque show, but with more geeky stuff like stats/plays/freeze frames. I know what I'm looking to do, but don't have the tech savvy to pull it off.
