I think Blaylock will surprise you BA. He's not better than Martin, but I think he has the potential to be as good as or better than Jordan. We'll see. He won't have that KC O-line to run behind.

The defense was a huge problem last year....as the season progressed, the O-line was coming together, they were even playing well toward the end....I like that they are letting the youthful offense grow as a unit.....Boston is gone for now, buts hes been invited to re-sign once hes healthy, who knows if that works out....Blaylock is a Jet, not a Dolphin....I do expect the Dolphins to draft a back at some point, there are so many good backs available, I expect most teams to draft one in the draft....

Boston was released, but Miami is interested in Ike Hilliard from the GIANTS. Also Miami is interested in Ed Hartwell, Donovin Darius, possibly Darren Sharper, Matt Stewart...wow, our defense is going to be amazing next year if we can find a way to get these guys. Im not too keen on the draft this year, i dont see much talent in the draft...id rather trade most of our pics and get players like Hartwell, Darius, and Sharper. We can trade Zgonina and our 3rd for Hartwell, Surtain and a 4th for Sharper, and Konrad and a 5th for Darius. Then draft Cedric Benson, and sign Ike Hilliard...wow that looks like an amazing team if it happens.

Ike is a bust, no other way to say it not 1 1000 yard season full of injuries.....maybe you'll turn him around!

EDIT: he is a Free Agent!

You won't need to trade for Sharper. The Packers are going to cut him in the next 3 days.

You only sacrifice draft picks for veterans if you are on the verge of winning the Super Bowl and you think they can get you over the hump....Saban will be trading picks, he will be stockpiling them...if they sign any of those guys it will be as free agents, they wont trade with the exception of darius....by they way, Surtain and 4th for Sharper? Are you nuts? Surtain is a CB, his way more valuable than any safety not named Ed Reed....more like Surtain to GB for Sharper and a 2nd....

I have to disagree I rather trade for a 5 year reliant backup than draft some rookie who has a probability to be a bust, just klook at the Cardinals draft picks for example.

i agree with u 100% Giants fan. I would rather trade for a solid offensive player who we KNOW is good, then choose someone from the draft who could be a bust. Do u think Cinncinnati Bengals are fine with drafting Carson Palmer? Carson proved nothing. Ron Dayne proved nothing. Peter Warrick proved nothing. Eric Crouch definetely proved nothing. I dont like the idea of building thru the draft, and yes look at the Cardinals...they have always been hopeless and they get the top 5 picks usually, and still are hopeless. Now they have signed many damn good players, so i can see them improving next year.

I'm going to ride the fence on this one. I do, however, want my Chiefs to come off of that 2nd rounder and try to bring in Surtain. We are without a 3rd rounder already this year. Surtain is 29 (I think). We are desperate for corners. It's hit or miss in the draft. If you have an opportunity to bring in a guy with Surtain's credentials for your 2 pick - you do it! Admittedly with his help, we could be aiming at the hump this year (especially now that we have added Bell and should draft a "D" player with our 1st rounder. But even if we were rebuilding, that is a bargain any way you slice it. Generally, I agree with The Beef on this issue. Maybe I have my Chiefs-colored glasses on again?

Every NFL Champion, since the beginning of time, has built through the draft....every one....there are no exceptions to that rule....You pluck potential stars in round 1, you build your team in rounds 2-5, you pluck hidden potential in rounds 6-7....you supplement that with free agency....its the only way to be successful over a long period of time....you can fight it if you want, you can fall in love with "sexy" signings that cost a lot of money this time of year, but the reality is, you build it through the draft, those are the players that will be with you for the next 4-5 years, not the free agents....free agency is ripe with disaster, very few free agents have an impact that is consistent with thier salaries....
