I'm aware, but you can't ignore the rumors coming out of that FO of looking for trade offers for their best players.
BROOKLYN. They were cursed since they moved from Jersey. The last time they had a superstar was Vince Carter. High payroll, Russian oligarchy rich guy made them more despondent.
Fourniers bounced back and has been killing it. I'd love to get him somehow. Aaron Gordon and Nikola Vucevic have also been playing out of their minds, and the Jonathan Simmons addition was a good one.
Hahahaha! That's why I don't like with "What team will surprise?" threads. If you pick them, it's not a surprise and NO ONE picked Orlando. 4-1 top of east.
Better than I thought they'd be: Boston (certainly their defense!), Orlando, Indiana, Detroit, Clippers. Worse: Sacramento, Dallas, Cleveland, Utah.
Agreed. It has to be sad SAC Sacramento. Their owner is an idiot who thinks he is building the next Golden State Warriors. Their GM is a likeable guy who is completely unqualified for the job (which is why the owner hired him, he wanted an easily manipulated puppet), and what a godawful mess of a roster. They currently have exactly one player on their roster with a double digit PER (Zach Randolf PER = 10.7 and his ORtg and DRtg are 93 and 111). They traded Demarcus Cousins for a shooter who is shooting .263 from downtown. They are currently 1-8, and its actually surprising they played well enough to win a game (over DAL who is currently 1-10). I would not be surprised to see them break the NBA record for losses in a season, and honestly 1-81 is not out of question. At least they have a state of the art arena to distract the fans from the shitty product on the court, but when they leave the arena, they are still in Sacramento. I'd be sad, too. BNM
The Mavs are hopeless. Nowitski should have retired years ago. He will after this season if not during it. The have a couple young prospects. But its nit looking good for Cuban who is used to winning.
