What did you expect Bowen was on him

Gino was guarding Kobe a lot in this game as well. Edward Scissorhands does a great job of forcing his man right into the teeth of the Spurs defense. He cannot stop Kobe one-on-one, no body in the league is capable, but Bowen understands how to use his help defense.

I don't like to complain about officiating, but Bowen gets away with murder out there. He seems to be the only player exempt from the new hand check rules.

The league protects him like no other. He wasn't even suspended for intentionally kicking Ray Allen in the back.

If a player can stop kobe from scoring then he should get defensive player of the year, year after year

Then Tayshaun Prince should win the award year after year.
