Um, no. Attention whores based on philosopher judges! That's how they can come up with garbage like this: Sadly, they refuse to expound on that line of thinking. But, it's good to know that you can find press to back it up. Other enlightening gems from the article include: I don't know....one is that the Hague is The International Court of Justice, commonly referred to as the World Court or ICJ and is the primary judicial organ of the United Nations. It's not the "West", it's the UN. The International Criminal Court has 153 signatories, of which the US is no longer a member, but Russia is...hardly a "West" tribunal. This is a mock "trial" in Kuala Lampur. Are you attempting to insinuate that it does?
You must not have read this yet. Cheney cancelled a trip to Canada a year ago because everyone was going to let him know he's a war criminal. One of those top 5 guys cancelled a trip to Africa last year because he would have been arrested. As for pretending not to know about torture prisons, I'm sure you read the news during the Iraq War. You couldn't miss it.
I read it. Which "horrible act in a war situation" did Bush and Blair commit? Or Cheney, or Rumsfeld, for that matter? I mean, since we started with "only murderers should be executed" and now we're at "leaders who make decisions we don't like are going to be tried in absentia in a clown court and executed" I'd like to know your "facts". If you think the US "Controls" the UN, we're on so very different planes of reality that it's probably useless to continue.
The UN is a joke. Countries only listen to the UN when the UN takes a position that follows that courtry's position. The whole asking UN to invade Iraq and when they said no US invaded anyways gave me a good indication of the value of the UN.
Denny only pays for a zillion terabytes, so I can't repeat the facts here. You'll just have to reread the media of the last 10 years and extend beyond Fox.
You really aren't faking? You truly don't know about the female general who got into trouble who ran the prison, or the enlisted woman torturer from Pennsylvania, or the pictures of dogs nipping at naked handcuffed prisoners' genitals, or the EU investigation into secret prisons the US maintained in former Communist countries, or the aviation number on the tail of the plane transporting victims to torture camps around the world, or... I can't dig out 10,000 links for you, which is how many we've all read in the last decade. You'll just have to show some curiosity about what your job is all about, and start a belated personal self-education.
This column asks a question I was wondering about myself. How on earth could Dottie Sandusky be so ignorant of what, after all, went on in her home? It's one thing if all the abuse was on the road or in locker rooms, but it was not. Hard read, but good points.
I was talking about that with my wife the other day. I asked her, wouldn't you find it really odd if I kept bringing little boys into our basement? Would you really think nothing of it?
