    That's a lie. The moniker sourced from opponents outside the Blazer Nation. We Blazer fans fought it for years. It annoys me every time I read it. Simmons loves to use that derisive term in his articles.

    Obviously they would love to go to Dallas +1 but you've got to think they won't be comfortable unless they score another goal here.

    That's got to make them feel pretty good heading into Dallas. Far from over, but things look great. Timbers 2 games away from bringing Portland its first professional sports title since 1977!

    As I understand it road goals are basically tie breakers. We are up 3-1 now, if Dallas was to win 2-0 next game, for example, though both teams have a cumulative 3 goals scored over two games Dallas would win the series because they have a road goal. In other words, I think it looks really good for the Timbers.

    I think I got that right lol.
