Timbers are putting Futbol back in soccer. I think the day may come when kids are actually kicking soccer balls as they walk down the street in Portland! Goalies Rock!!!!!!!

Hey. I'm stoked we got there. I think it's great. But it a lot of the way we played this year, wasn't pretty. I'll give Porter credit, he knows when to park the bus.... D is the key to the Timbers game.

They beat columbus in their only matchup. I think they can do it. Diego will be back for this one right? He can score.

I don't think I've ever read any of your posts pertaining to my Blazers, but damn! If this is how you feel about a team that made it 1 win away from a championship, what the fuck are you saying about our hoop team?

I think the Blazers are fine. And the Timbers are doing great! My point is just following them this year has been a rollercoaster. There was a period of about 15 matches were they just couldn't buy a goal. Porter to his credit made some tactical changes and other players (Nagbe, esp) have really stepped up. They have a lot of depth on the squad. On to the Finals!

Sounds like are new to footie m8. That's been the Timbers MO ever since they were an expansion team. They've never been consistent, but this is the best they have played since they came into the MLS. Galaxy a few years ago is the closest you are going to see to an dominant EPL team, and its not even close. Timbers have looked fantastic and should be confident going into this game knowing that they are in control of the outcome.
