    Not the Sonics, the MANAGER! Payton is with a team for 13 years and all of a sudden he's traded by some crappy manager, what goes through a great players head when he's traded? It's just frustrating

    Yes right now it probably does suck if your a Sonics fan. GP did not want to leave either he wanted to finish his career in Seatle. But things happen.

    I will only contribute ONE worthwhile post to this site. The Sonics are not stupid for trading GP because his agent said he wouldnt resign with them when the season was over. SO the Sonics got the best out of what they could deal with.

    <font color="green">Yeah, Seattle couldn't afford him (he is a veteran), and we suck (Sonics), so yeah...they had no choice anyways, and since Ray is still a youngin'/fresh newbie, he's cheaper for them (in the sense)...plus he kicks ass...Sure, I was really pissed @ first...I was like, "What the hell was the coach thinkin??? He's been with Seattle for a decade now!!!!" But now, I realized Ray is a great addition.</font>
