not my problem. Take care of your Fucking gun and don’t let people steal it. Simple. If it’s too hard then you don’t get a gun
And if you’re so scared you are going to get killed in bed or raped at night go buy yourself a safe and stick next to your bed. Don’t they have fingerprint opening safes? I dunno but figure it out. No more “whoopsie my firearm is missing does little Jimmy have it”
@EL PRESIDENTE You start selectively raiding houses and you will watch anarchy unfold. Martial Law would have to be declared to come even remotely close to justifiable, but then that wouldnt work either. There are too many NRA members and freedom activists that will say no way, regardless of the agenda. We need much more detailed tracking of those who purchase guns, with a much more stringent mental inspection. We need to make bullets required to be 100% traceable. And you are right on penalties. MUCH higher penalties for crimes committed with guns. Armed robbery? Life sentence. Homocide? Automatic death penalty.
Obviously nuke Urban areas so that any loose hand guns get destroyed that’ll really put a hammer down on it... I dont think there is a quick fix to it, changing gun laws will help some. Using technology to start tagging all guns that get manufactured and tracking them can help the future. Its probably a generation or two worth of work to find a majority of the illegal guns out and about.
The 2nd amendment exists to protect people like you and me from government corruption. It's original intent was for citizenry to be able to bare arms against unruly governments using the military as a force against its people. Times have changed, but the foundation of the need is the same. You take away everyone's right to bare arms, you leave everyone vulnerable to those who could give a shit about abiding the law. Sorry, rather have guns available to all and figure out how to answer the screening process and tracking, than I would to deny the common citizenry the right to own a gun. We are a couple generations removed from a world war. How quickly we forget how fragile our economy and world is. I pray to God I never have to shoot someone, let alone point a gun at them out of fear. But I want that right if I feel threatened. You try to take that way and you will see a civil war unfold.
KEEP YOUR GUNS. But if you can’t take care of them too bad. And anyone who thinks the fantasy land of civilians using their guns to fend off the military shouldn’t have a gun either cuz that’s lunacy
Weapons went away in Australia. They went away in the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Spain and Italy. Why can't they go away here?
It's law enforcements job to go get them and jail those who have them or sell them or make them ..we need a Judge Dread or Robocop force
lol...I understand your passion but you're not being at all realistic....lemme guess, you don't own a gun?
I don't know whether his not owning a gun makes him any more or less qualified to comment on the subject. However, I own a couple guns and agree with you all except for the part about him not owning a gun, which I'm sure you don't really care about. I just wonder why you would bring his gun ownership up which I couldn't care less about.
And as I've been saying all along, those countries never had the problem to the degree that the US now has...because the problem has more to do with culture than with the number of guns. ..........California has some of the strictest gun laws in the country...how's that working out?
