Scoot and Sharpe would have been the worst shooting backcourt in the NBA last season

They would be the youngest at 20.5. Detroit would be the next youngest at 22 years of age average. Then only San Antonio, OKC, and Houston would be below 24 years of age.

Besides his face always looking uninterested, Sharpe's dribbling is forward-level, not guard-level.

Shaedon was thinking about dunking it from the 3 point line.

Did you know, Sharpe ended up missing that shot, which contributed to his horrible 40% shooting for the season?

So I'll bump this, just to show many people in here said he will be fine and now complaining in the Bust a Scoot thread..

BTW, when I made this thread, it was more a clap back of all the negative Nancy's and not a real reflection of what I really think of Scoot.

You need to give him 2-4 years at least, you need PATIENCE, and if none of you guys don't have that then stop pushing the Blazers need to tank if you don't have patience to give the youngsters time to grow, especially a 21 year old Scoot and a 22 year old Sharpe.

He still very well may be fine. He definitely has the body and athleticism.

We should not count on it though. We need to keep stockpiling young talent. Not middle aged talent like Simons.

It doesn't matter if we have a capable point guard right now. All that matters is stockpiling and developing YOUNG talent.

Dude has played 60 games and everyone has already called him a bust? Man, I just can’t do it.

Why do fans need patience? Im not Scoots boss or the GM of the team. He's playing bad and a huge disappointment of what we hoped from the #3 pick. Seems totally justified to state those disappointments.

I'm not saying the Blazers should cut him.

But we praise players like Camara who greatly exceed expectations. Seems perfectly reasonable to criticize players that fall far short of expectations.
