<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Bleedblk&gld)</div><div class='quotemain'>Honestly Beef, i thought it wouldn't be you to say someting like this. For starters, New Orleans isn't under water, it hasn't been for months now. Yes, i do take that offensive, don't talk about my city like it's in ruins. Our practice facility is considered one of the best in the league and it sustained no damage from the storm. Secondly, Drew Brees may have came here for the money, but it's not like he didn't like what he saw on paper. Let's not forget last year was a bad year for the Saints due to a hurricane keeping them from their state of the art practice facility. Any proffesional team that has to practice in a parking lot for a year is going to have troubles. We still have McAllister, Horn, Stallworth, Brown, Hilton, Mayberry and Karney on offense, and a strong possibility of drafting Ferguson. I think that's enough to make a QB happy. Don't take shots at my city cause you didn't get your way, that's immature.</div> You took exception to Beef's comments because you say it makes New Orleans sound like it's in ruins, yet your location says "Katrina Ruins." Does anyone see any inconsistancy there? Actually, my brother and sister-in-law, just left New Orleans where they were helping to identify corpses. My brother told my mom that they were still bringing bodies out of the 9th ward. My sister lives in Luling, so I hear about the condition of New Orleans quite regularly and it's not the same city that it used to be. I hope New Orleans recovers and, hopefully, it's city leaders will get their heads out of their collective arses and fix the clearly foreseeable problems that led to senseless deaths and property destruction. However, you really read Beef's post it was more of a commentary on the shabby way the Saints front office runs the team than a slight toward the city itself. The Saints have never been truly committed to winning a championship with the exception of a few years, when they fielded a team that has squeaked into the playoffs with no real shot at the Super Bowl, they have stunk. The truth is that you should be thanking the Dolphins front office right now. By trading for Culpepper, the Dolphins saved you several millions by nullifying some of Brees' leverage. Not that it really matters. The Saints are run like a Mom and Pops store and I don't see that changing.
