Voodoo, I fail to see how his scripture is any less valid as anyone else's...some would say the great thing about the bible is that it can be interpreted to mean something different to everyone, some take solace in gods jealousy power and wrath. Like "god fearing" used as a compliment

If "circle-jerk" is the term you'd like to apply, then feel free, but "feel good" is absolutely appropriate. If you can believe in an indivisible being who is at the same time three different beings, including father and son, then you're really capable of overcoming your natural resistance to absurdity. Do you know how often Bible verses have been used to justify horror? For just one instance, do you know the history of this particular verse: "And he said, Cursed be Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren. 26 And he said, Blessed be the LORD God of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant. 27 God shall enlarge Japheth, and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant." If you can't take the bad with the good, then you indeed should stick to agnosticism.
