Yes, Trump is completely full of shit, and at least some of us figured that out long ago. There are clearly a few here who have not. barfo
My favorite was the, If you like your health care plan, you can keep your health care plan! My was already gone, and he was still saying it.
How many fingers am I holding up, Winston? Four. And if the party says there are not four but five, how many? Four. [after repeated bouts of torture] Four! Five! Anything you want!
This is priceless: I just listened in to the start of the first major press conference. Someone from ABC (Carl....) asked if Spicer was going to be honest. I don't remember any other Press Sec having to answer that on Day 1. However, it quickly got to the question around 'how many people watched the Inauguration'. Spicer explained again the amount of people who watched on Apps, online, and TV around the world along with those actually in attendance. The reporter kept challenging him so Spicer asked, do you have any information that refutes what I just pointed out? Carl: "I don't want to get into the numbers." Lol....so he wasn't interested in the facts or the explanation...just his personal agenda to make him look bad. I have no dog in this fight but it astounds me how out of the way with false, fake or just plain ignorance in some cases some of the media is handling this. The aren't interested in the truth....just want their opinion to go forward.
He clarified his position on the numbers. He said it was the most both ONLINE and IN PERSON, meaning together. Then he goes on to say he doesn't understand how you (the reporter) would think otherwise. Then the reporter clarified, about the in-person statement, and Spicer clarified and said he did not mean in person only. Spicer mopped up the press core today and took them to task, it was glorious.
Do you recall any other Press Secretary making multiple false statements to the press the day before the first press conference? Questions about his honesty are well justified. Couldn't you also say that about Trump and Spicer's performances yesterday? barfo
He did admit that the data he used on the metro was way off and denied making it up. So apparently, we are going to vacillate between scolding the press one day and then making up the next day claiming you should be given an opportunity to correct yourself. It's going to be an entertaining ride.
Sure....but the previous President and his Press Sec also mislead and/or lied frequently and were not taken to the same task as the majority of the media have since Day 1 after the election with this President. Just a lack of objectivity when the same things happen.
Clinton lied as Secy of State and her whole campaign. As the facts came out about her illegal email server that proved her recent statements we outright lies, she told a new one. The administration lied about benghazi, NSA spying, giving weapons to mexican gangs, etc. But let's quibble over crowd size. It's not even funny.
