No one wants Hunter. I wouldn't compare Hunter to Ben. It's better to get a 2nd, then not get anything at all, since we definetely aren't going to resign him.

[IMG] How can you compare Steven Hunter to Ben Wallace? Hunter is lazy and blocks a shot or 2, but doesn't get back on defense and gives up on plays and is a horrible rebounder for his size. Ben Wallace is the opposite of lazy. He's active, he goes after anything. He blocks everything, never gives up on the play and gets every rebound. I just don't see how you can compare the 2. Another thing is Hunter doesn't play on the team with the worst centers. He can't be that good. That would have teams decline the offer.

Alright , maybe you can't compare him with Ben Wallace but remember...Ben Wallace wasn't a star back then. How long he's been in the league now? Hunter has been in the league for like 2 years, and playing with Orlando...

He only needs to be playing for another team and he will be active all the time because he knows right now in Orlando even if he tries his best JD won't give him more minutes.(I've seen it happen a lot of times)

True. So you like the idea of us getting Arroyo?

I love it , I really don't know , but I think it was you that mentioned earlier in this thread that he was going to be a Free Agent after this season?

If so , I rather sign him in the off-season , instead of trading to get him and give Arroyo a negative view about the organization and he decides not to be with us next season.

That's what I thought and someone replied saying that it would be best to give him some chemistry to our players, such as Tmac, Bogans, and Gooden.

I don't know , I rather talk with him (as the GM) and ask him if he wants to be in Orlando. I don't know if you could do that.

I mean telling him that I ( The GM) will try to do a trade with the Jazz before the trading deadline that would include him but I want to know if he wants to be there for next season.

    <div class="quote_poster">Quoting Ming637:</div><div class="quote_post">Grant Hill at PG?</div>

Hill can play PG(He did for several years with the Pistons) but if we get Snow then of course I'd start him instead and move Hill to the SF spot.

I was just making those line-ups based on our current rosters.

And remember, you don't need a proto-type PG to win Championships. The Bulls won 6 with Ron Harper& B.J Armstrong. The Lakers won 3 with D.Fisher! LOL

I dont think GM's are alowed to talk to players on other teams about trades unless Utah gives him permission

    Dont quote me on that..

But yeah i like the idea of getting him

    Yeah , that's what I thought.

I guess we could wait for him and sign him in the off-season. I rather do that than losing a player right now and losing him in the off-season.

I say you guys should go for Dampier, he wants to go. He's got awesome defense on his side as well as some offense to go along with it. Either that or Sheed, but he'd only provide you with size and rebounding, his blocking ability has somewhat to be desired.

Also if you go to the Knicks forum, you'll see Dikembe Mutombo is next to leave. Better make use of a big man who is "great" at defense while he still is. Also Mobley and Snow. I don't know who you could trade though, your roster value is pretty much unimpressive.

Hey this thread is getting alot of attention. This season was a bust look on the bright side. We are going to be champs next season like sports said. We may even make it past the first round of playoffs.
