after Heat game: bullsger - 30 (of 54) - Denny Crane - 9 (of 21) - (13 of 16 - he predicted a Bulls loss, so that they can win it ;-) ) Good Hope - 22,5 (of 29) - truebluefan - 0 (of 1) transplant - 8 (of 17) - 1 for hoping ;-)
Bulls have lost 4 of their last 5 and have 2 games left. A while back, I suggested the Bulls might win 45 games. They'll have to win at Orlando and at home against Washington to match my prediction. If the season ended today, the Bulls would play the Pacers. Indy won the season series against us 3-1. However, Atlanta is 44-36 to the Bulls' 43-37. They would play the Nets. If the Bulls can tie Atlanta in the standings, they would play the Nets instead. The Bulls won the season series with the Nets 3-1. They won the season series with Atlanta 2-1. If the regular season series results are an indication (they're not, though), 2 wins for us and 1 win for Atlanta means we might have a shot of getting out of the 1st round. We'd need to get healthy all of a sudden, I suspect, though.
45 wins. Yes. All without Mr. Rose, and with a shitload of injuries. Considering all the trouble, things are starting to shape up. I sense a good trend on the make. We win the series in 5. And in all seriousness, this prediction depends on Kirk's health. If he stays healthy, we dominate. If he doesn't, we *might* still win. I suppose you could argue that the same is true for Nate? Maybe...not denying he's been an important spark. But missing Kirk means a lot, is what I'm saying. Go Bulls!
