So what you're saying is, without those ads we wouldn't have been able to afford Calabro, and we'd still have Mike & Mike?

That's another thing. They're both horrible company shills. Don't get me wrong, Barrett was too, but he would acknowledge it at times. Rice just did his own thing. It made them seem more personable and relatable.

    Hate them.

Don't get the Calabro accolades. He's "a real pro" as many people said after the hiring. He doesn't seem invested in the team, makes plenty of errors, and is just fucking bland. Sounds like a Sonics game after 7 Rainier Ales.

As for Lamar Hurd...........I want to crawl out of my skin listening to his pseudo-street speak and various annoying isms.

    Another thing.

Since I moved from Portland, the Mike's gave me a sense of being back during the games. New guys are generic fucks

im starting to wonder if they are the reason i lost interest this season. I've been pretty sick of the NBA itself with the shit refs and over advertising shit. but i remember watching some pretty bad seasons and still enjoying watching with the mikes. i hated when the team was obviously telling rice to take it easy on calling out the refs. but i loved that he fucking did that shit anyway. fuck the corrupt ass NBA refs. Rice is a man and he calls a spade a spade. fuck you silver.

Admit the mistake and bring back Mike and Mike. Kind of like what the Rams did with their new logo...admit the mistake and fix it.

Hurd is the young and hip black guy that the old white colabro can never relate to so it's really funny to generic ass people. I have seen that shit too much in TV. Colabro skiis and Hurd doesn't, OMG LOLZ.
Hurd watches real housewives and Colabro doesn't LOLZ OMG. Hey Colabro do you know about the Migos or any trendy new thing young people can relate to? of course you don't LOL OMG.
Would take Mike and mike over these guys any day. Loved their commentary. These dudes are try hards, I could give a fuck about a professional sounding broadcast.

I really miss the chemistry of the Mikes but that was like over a decade together. Calabro and Hurd kinda feel like two square pegs trying to fit into round holes. I wouldn't be shocked to see both gone within the next few years.

Anyone have a contact email for the Chris or whoever hired C&H for the team?

Watching the thunder game on nba tv. Im reminded why i miss mike and mike so much. It was the only show on tv that was pro blazers. I get sick of someone saying hey this lillard guy is good, then his partner interrupts to say almost as good as westbrook! Manufactured stars are getting old. We get it. Westbrook is an athletic freak. But he's no michael jordan. He's a choke artist and i dont want you shoving him down my throat.

They were tough to take early because they were replacing local/long-time guys who people were comfortable with. Through in that the product was unwatchable and I get that people didn't like them.

I'm still not a fan of Hurd but Calabro is dynamite. When it is a good game, there is few better. He was very good tonight and it's amazing how clearly and quickly he can describe the action......like it! :twothumbs:

I'm sure everyone noticed that Calabro came so, so close, just as the game finished, to saying that OKC won. He quickly corrected course.

Yea my opinion is that Calabro is more OKC fan than Blazer, not cool.

Love Rice but I think it was time for him to retire. Barrett and Hurd would of been great IMO.

Everyone makes mistakes. We used to have a drinking game based on things M&M got wrong. We had to stop before long because we'd all be blitzed in the 1st half night after night.
