I kind of see him as a Tayshaun Prince, the way he is so lengthy. Although, he plays good defense, he is not built (msucle wise) as well as a Scottie Pippen. He can also hit that three the sameway Prince can.

Prince is a good comparison, but he has the frame to eventually bulk up. If Redick doesn't work out, the Magic are going to be kicking themselves for not drafting Thabo. They said the reason they passed on Thabo was their bad experience with Fran Vazquez. They were turned off by International talent, pretty stupid justification.

Wow, this Bulls outfit is really taking it to the Heat. I was just at the gym and the game was on there, so I did some cardio just so I could watch some of the game, lol, only caught 5 minutes of it though before my Bus came, I'm trying to watch it on NBA TV but the connection is f'n up [IMG]

Chicago up by 38 points as I type this, I dont think anyone could've predicted this hammering.

That picture is the solution to any argument over the Bulls.

They are looking to let everyone know that they will be a force to recon with come April/June and what better way to do it then to start off the season with a blow out win against the defending champs?</div>

Good prediction, Bulls win this by 42 points, 108 - 66.

I think we sometimes get TNT thursdays, I forget.

but we do not have a channel called TNT.

The sports channels in Toronto are:

    Basic Cable:
    Sportsnet Ontario - sportsnet.ca
TSN (Toronto Sports Network) - tsn.ca

    Advanced Cable
    The Score - thescore.ca

Digital Cable: (you can order any channel)
    Raptors TV ( I think it has the bulls-Heat / Lakers-Phoenix games)
    Sportsnet East
    Sportsnet West
    Sportsnet Pacific
I don't know if Digital cable offers TNT.

Just a question GameFace, now that you have seen Thabo play, do you think it was better for the Sixers to make the Carney and Thabo swap?

I don't know about GameFace, but personally I've had high hopes for Thabo ever since we drafted him and those articles came in.

It was good to see everyone get 10mins+ tonight. Really showed our depth. Even with our extended bench, the Heat were not able to close the gap significantly.

Our bench has to be the best in the league. we will most definatly be the most fresh team in the playoffs. And with so many players that can play 2-3 postions the combinations are almost infinite. I knew we would win. but 42 point wasnt in the plan. Great job tyrus and ben. they both had some great tip dunks that made my girl and I scream.

    Go Bulls!!!!

P.S. you could compare thabo to pippen pippen bulked up over the course of several years. he was just as thin as thabo was at 22 and so was mike. In about 4 years well see the body of pippen in 96.

    P.S.S. Bears 7-0!!!!!

Miami proved to me what I always knew, they are a bunch of cry babies when things don't go there way.

Lazy players, poor shooting (Yes Antoine Walker I am looking at you).

Deng started off well but tapered off, Duhon starred as did Hinrich, making his contract extension already worthwhile.

Thabo played well in garbage minutes, Thomas has a MONSTER leap, he jumped about 8 feet on a jump shot.

    Wallace played well.

P.J Brown looks real skinny, but he will be an under-rated asset to this team throughout the season.

    only 71 wins to go.

What was with those cheap fouls during the game? I like the Heat but they lost a lot of respect out there. If we attack wade they'll be crying to the press like they did with Detroit. Man it was garbage time and they take it out on Thomas. Its not his problem the heat fell apart. He is making an impact on the bulls already. Best kept aren’t you happy we got Tyrus over Aldridge now?
I am. I had questions about Thomas but now i'm a hypocrite.

Give me a "T"......t, Give me an "H"......h

Alright, loser wears the others signature of choice for two weeks.

Thabo has played very well during summer league, pre-season, and the first game of the regular season. However, I still feel as though Carney was the better choice for the 76ers in the long run. He has more upside than Thabo does in terms of becoming an overall great player in the league. I believe if he commits himself he can be one of the elite players in the league several years from now. Meanwhile, I see Thabo as more of a Prince type guy, someone who excels defensively and can hold his own offensively.

I admit I wanted Aldridge, but Thomas has me impressed.

Hopefully his (and Duhons) injury isn't too serious.

Wow...that's all I can say. I didn't even really expect to win, but damn. A 42 point beatdown against the defending champs is a hell of a way to start a season off. Great to see Hinrich perform well after getting a five year extension just before the game too.
