<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>KIRKLAND, Washington (Ticker) -- The Seattle Seahawks signed four players on Friday, including defensive end Lawrence Jackson, the club's first-round pick.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but the Seattle Times is reporting that it is a five-year deal worth $11.25 million with $6.1 million guaranteed for the 28th pick.

Jackson started all 3 games during his senior year at Southern California, recording 60 tackles and 10.5 sacks. The 6-4 defensive end had 181 tackles and 30.5 sacks during his career with the Trojans.

Seattle also signed defensive tackle Red Bryant and fullback Owen Schmitt, its fourth - and fifth-round picks, respectively, along with free agent wide receiver Bryan Gilmore.

Gilmore spent last season with the San Francisco 49ers and had seven receptions for 111 yards in 10 contests. Over his six-year career, the 30-year-old has 53 catches for 794 yards and five touchdowns.</div>

    I really liked Schmitt.
