Yep. Haven't had a chance to get on the board much. Really liked that post by you though. It was hilarious.
So Seattle won against a team that: Didn't have their starting All-Pro TE George Kittle; the best TE in the league. Had a LT who is 36 years old in his first game back from injury, who played like he's 50 (Clowny is a general no-show with only 2 sacks coming into this game....until he met senior citizen Staley). I love Joe, but it's quite clear this season that he needs to retire. Didn't have Pro-Bowl WR Emmanuel Sanders for 3 quarters Had a mediocre receiving corp with receivers that dropped 9 passes; their most "reliable" receiver is a rookie who dropped 2 of them Had a RT Mike McGlinchy who is also in his first game back from injury, and played like shit (I'll brush it off as rust) Has Solomon "Bust" Thomas getting pancaked on every play Didn't have their All-Pro kicker (and if he was playing, this thread would be far different) ....in OT, by 3 points. LOL, okay. Enjoy the win, 1-2s. Come back and see us when you beat a HEALTHY 9ers team with more than a single rookie at the receiving position.
I think the 9ers will be healthier in key positions by week 14, perhaps a bit earlier. But if that receiving corp continues to be shit outside of Sanders and Kittle, then it's going to be a struggle. If they catch even 5 of those 9 dropped passes, then they probably win that game.
Ugh. There are fans who are actually considering this. Thankfully, we're not the only team. I could see Dez, providing he could catch the ball, being a third-down threat, or maybe even an end-zone threat. But crossing routes and deep passes? No.
