    I have wondered that myself.

Ray is better than Flip is an easy call.
Flip doesn't fit on the team? OK I will give you that.

Will we need flip if Ray bolts? Damn skippy!

He needs more playing time in order to help us when the post season comes around. If we lose a couple giving him that time I can live with it. I am sure he got an earfull from Ray after last nights game. He should come around. I think that evrybody knows he has talent. I say use him or trade him for something useful.

    Welcome to Sonicscentr...er...JustBBall.

When I saw the score of this game it suprised me! Flip Murray is a baller.. If he doesn't get more playing time look for him to ask for a trade he would look good in a L.A. Clipper uniform....

Just goes to show there's no easy game in the NBA anymore. Richardson played a great game for the Warriors. Him and Fisher made alot of big shots when It mattered. Sonics missing Fortson again, I still think he is the x-factor on the Sonics success. Why wasn't he back? I thought his suspended ended? Great win for GS heading into the break and a tough one for the Sonics. You always want to head into all-star weekend on a high but the Sonics should feel happy about where they stand even with back to back losses they still managed to knock off the Kings and Suns before hand so It all evens out.

That was a stupid five second violation.
    What was nate smoking?
    He played like a rookie.
    We lost.
Bury him back on the bench.
If he is going to be our go to guy in the post season, we should start tanking now to get a better draft pick.</div>

You need to do something w/ all of that hate in your heart.

Obviously you attribute our success this year to Flip being buried on the bench but like I've said countless amount of times we have been able to have a ton of success the past two seasons when Flip plays over 25 minutes. He is almost always productive and he absolutely plays to win.

Flip is a superstar talent who has been relegated to scrub minutes. When he sees an opportunity to improve his stock and prove his doubters wrong he's going to advantage take it. Need I remind everyone that we were down double digits when Flip entered the game the other night. Nate felt as if he could provide a spark in lieu of Allen's and Lewis' poor play. Not only did he provide that spark but he got guys like you upset b/c he looked to be Seattle's go to player. I don't know too many players who have gotten limited minutes all year that could lead their team to victory after spotting the opposition a double digit lead. Flip came dangerously close to doing that, when he wasn't even playing at his best.

Flip is not a selfish player but b/c he is as good as he is that is the perception. If he was as selfish as you guys claim him to be he would have demanded a trade and ripped into the organization for how he's been treated. He hasn't done that and instead he's carried himself like a true professional and has been patiently waiting for an opportunity. Don't start hating when he takes advantage of the little opportunity he is getting b/c all it's going to do is give Flip more incentive to prove you and the rest of his doubters wrong.

i hate to see this but I have to half agree with Shiek...blaming Flip for our g-state loss is not only wrong its plain stupid. He played well and he played well playing his game. His game is taking people off the dribble. I dont think I saw him take a shot that I thought was stupid. If anything when he trys to pass the ball he usually screws up because he isnt a good decision maker at all..thats his weakness not selfishness.

It's never right to blame one player for a loss. Team loses and wins together.

Ray Allen made a comment in the paper after the game about how 'The game never came back to me' in the 2nd half, when he was 2-8 or something like that.

I sensed some bad vibes when they came back to the bench after a botched possession late in the game - the Sonics were swinging the ball around and Flip either missed Ray in the corner or bobbled the ball.

Flip attempted to expain and Ray waived/looked him off, at least that's that's the way it appeared to me.

Also, anyone else notice Ray getting caught under the basket a lot lately? On the pick and roll they trail his shooting hand and steer him towards the hoop, where he usually tries to fling a cross-court pass or some such thing.
