Their children's healthcare will not be denied. They will simply have to sacrifice other things in order to "be a responsible parent" and pay for it. It's simple mathematics. If they're not my children, then their parents will need to find a way to pay for their care, just as they need to feed and clothe them. It's part of "being a parenting", and it's what we do. We don't sacrifice our children's healthcare to pay for somebody else's healthcare.
What if those simple mathematics don't work out because the child requires substantially more care than the parents are able to provide? Food and clothes are a little different than healthcare that may cost millions of dollars. If a child is born with major heart defects, for example, and the child can be saved with multiple surgeries, you are ok with the child dying if their parents are hard working middle class americans and are umable to afford such care? Sacrificing things doesn't work out on your "simple mathematics" when health care for serious birth defects can cost millions.
Yes, I am okay with accepting reality, rather than pretend stealing money from working citizens to pay for the extreme costs of non-working citizens and the extreme costs of some other working citizens will result in an overall improvement of healthcare for all concerned. As for people dying, sucks to be them but we're in the middle of a population explosion that will destroy the earth if not reversed and corrected by either an immediate stoppage of all human birth on the planet, or a rapid acceleration of human deaths.
You earned the double WtAF. I don't have to have a response to every straw man, hence the WtAF. Twice. Literally said nothing in my post about a) republicans, b) Trump, c) popular opinion. I did bring up why I ridiculed ObamaCare. I'll post it again:
Except for the innocent children that need extreme healthcare eh? Boy, if they are not born into a 1%er family, sucks to be them! Cause fuck'em that's why! Damn. Cold blooded. If it isn't my family! Fuck 'em!
More like, don't steal from my family because stealing is wrong. Bad people steal. Obamacare doesn't tax 1%ers, it taxes the 90%ers who really can't afford it, with a goal of making 1%ers richer by destroying the middle class.
We have charities in this world that do everything. Build houses Shelter abused women and children Feed the homeless A dentist I had went to Africa every year and fixed people's teeth. None of that is like insurance. You have car insurance but you don't get to buy a wrecked Ferrari for cheap and expect Geico to fix it for you after the fact. If you have a child born today that only needs a heart transplant and maybe a liver or a kidney or two how is your let's say 1000 bucks a month insurance payment supposed to cover it? It can't. There is no tweaking Obamacare and keeping the insurance we have as it is today and keeping costs down. My insurance is crap compared to 10 years ago and the plans people buy out of pocket in the exchanges sound terrifyingly bad AND expensive. The only thing that this bill seems to have done is push us towards single payer. Maybe that was the intent considering nobody in their right mind could think this would work.
Yes, allowing children to die while having a military that can kill everyone else is the true measure of greatest country on earth and will surely inspire god to bless us. Can I get an amen?
How about be a decent human being and pitch in a little bit more money so little Johnny can have a life in the great US of A! Instead of dying because a "real" American wanted to replenish his dildo collection.
Obamacare today is making it so sick children and adults get all the care that they need. There is no longer a dollar limit on that. The ferrari comparison is stupid. Health care is a human right.
No. Health care is not a human right. How much propaganda does one have to suffer through to buy that nonsense? You don't have a right to make me take care of you. You don't have a right to make me fix your car. Drop your insurance and then wreck it and see what happens. We live in a society that we have established a framework that we all can work within. Insurance was one of those things we created. I have my own issues with insurance, mainly the obvious conflict of a for profit company determining what I need done based on costs. That's the system we had. I don't even know what we have now.
For little Johnny to live out his expensive and non-productive life in his bubble, ten maybe twenty other kids have to suffer and perhaps die for lack of healthcare. That's reality, regardless of your flippant posts. You care about Johnny, give him all your money. Keep your greedy little paws off mine, as it's spoken for.
