The guy said they wouldn't raise sales tax on necessities. That means no new tax for the poor.

They're raising the tax on the rich. Instead of income tax of maybe 10%, they're taxing 6+% of all the rest of their income they spend. 6% tax on the 50% of their income not spent on housing and household bills (phone, gas, cable TV, etc). In addition to income and property taxes.

where is the bias reporting of a fact that there will be a $461 million dollar shortfall. that the legislature and the governor will likely increase taxes

attacking the messenger once again and defending with a strawman argument that "it's sumbody elses fault". does not a decrease in revenues follow a tax cut. depression? does not unemployment follow depression? does not state a decline in collected revenues follow depression? kansas' libertarian utopia falls short when middle class inclusion is a metric for this boom in lowering the unemployment rate.

The deficit he inherited was $1B. The bias is that isn't mentioned. They leave you the impression the shortfall is from the tax cuts, when the tax cuts have made up more than 1/2 of the prior shortfall.

No, a revenue decrease does not follow a tax cut. It creates more jobs and thus more taxpayers.

This thread has a number of graphs showing revenues increase with lower tax rates.

    Lower unemployment is a fact.

From your posts, I'm not sure if you can tell what a fact is.

"Since those changes, Gov. Sam Brownback and lawmakers have found themselves repeatedly tinkering with the budget to fill hundreds of millions of dollars in shortfalls."

    He inherited $1B deficit.

Sorry, but I've debunked all the left wing media smear with fact.

It is left wing bullshit. They cannot stand it that tax cuts are better than really high tax rates. Tickles their "fairness" funny bone the wrong way or something.

You asked what I objected to. I quoted you parts of the article that are clearly in error. You don't seem to have read the article and think there are only 2 facts to it. I assumed you read it, instead of a couple of sentences out of context.

What Kansas did wrong was to create a loophole that individuals could file as businesses and cheat the tax code. That's what they're going to fix.
