Pretty sure the Blazers were only allowed to sign Jaylen Adams because Ariza opted out. I don't think he can opt back in.

They did have a spot but you might be correct on that?
Edit- spot meaning roster spot. Didn’t Biggie opt out also?

    Dame/CJ/Trent/Melo (as a spot up shooter)/Nurk
    should be the closing lineup

Closing lineups change radically due to situational uses. If you are on defense and need Collins with Nurk you do that. If you need small ball you do that. Being flexible is the only way to close out games well. 4th OT insert Hoody! You do what you have to do.

I think we could have signed two other players actually. The NBA expanded the amount of roster positions for the restart and we had the least amount of roster spots filled of all 22 restart teams and that was with Adams being signed but not counting Ariza (most other teams had two more players available than us some only one).

But the Pacers might be 5 seed and they could draw the Sixers. Hard for Celtics to control their first round opponent with the 6th seed still up in the air.

Rescheduled for when? I highly doubt the game will be rescheduled.

No games are getting rescheduled, the most Orlando is supposed to see is a tropical storm and Orlando hardly ever takes hurricane/tropical storm damage. The last time they needed a concerted cleanup effort after a named storm was Hurricane Charley in 2004. There's a better chance that a tornado becomes a problem as a result of the hurricane but again I'm pretty sure that won't cancel any games unless it touches down on the NBA campus.

It's like you just woke up from a coma and don't know anything about the absolutely weird year we've been having.

    Welcome to 2020!

Now please go knock on wood so the Blazers aren't jinxed.

Yep, no game tomorrow. Standing room only. There are 20,000 reasons the police will opt for safety and close the slippery freeways to the fans.

In crunch time you need a guy who's not in foul trouble if possible that can be aggressive in the paint....Nurk is pretty good at playing with fouls but Zach isn't so much...

I’ll just go back to the first line. Closing lineups change radically due to situational uses. There is not usually a set closing lineup. Of course different coaches do different things.

True. That is one good thing about fans not being allowed into the game.

Not when, where. I'm predicting the hurricane will move the arenas the NBA is using to NY.

Yeah, it's just going to rain all day tomorrow, high winds, but things will be fine. I don't think the games will be cancelled. Only way they will is if power goes out, which is always a possibility with high winds.
