This should be an awesome match, right?

I don't think anybody is stopping Germany, they are absolutely crushing teams right now. I'd like for Spain to win, but I doubt they do. Germany is too strong.

It's football, Spain could take this, Germany is playing great, but it's not like we have never seen a surprise in the WC.

Would Spain over Germany really be a surprise? I know Germany are in the best form of the Cup, but Spain and Brazil were the favorites entering the tournament. Spain can maintain possession against anyone, which can help them against the Germans. I'll go with Spain in a close one.

Yeah, I would say it's close to a 50/50% match.

The media has made Spain the heavy favorites to win this match. I wonder how they find work. Germany have scoring threats from just about everywhere on the pitch. The Spanish midfield hasn't been that great and the defense has so many holes. They haven't been that great tactically and as we've seen Germany love to take on teams with piss poor tactics. A few minor mistakes and Germany could route them.

The Spanish defense isn't exactly speedy either, which can hurt with Ozil, Podolski, and who ever replaces Mueller coming out of the midfield. Pique and Puyol could easily be stretched leaving space for Klose to bag some more goals.

Klose will score a goal in this match, book it, and then will take over Ronaldo's 1st spot with most goals in World Cup history.

I really think Germany will have an easy time this match, remember Swiss beat them without any offense, just by playing good defense.

    My prediction:

    Deutschland 5 - 2 Spain

I don't know if Spain will leave themselves open to that kind of barrage, but I won't say it can't happen. We have to remember that Casillas is still between the pipes and he's a damn good keeper. With that though, I agree with Agoo that Spain's defenders are too slow for the German onslaught. Again, Germany are also superior tactically. This one could get ugly.

Germans believe they can beat anyone at this point, even two teams combined at same time.

    lmao ;)

What would you prefer though, a fourth star for Germany or a first for the Dutch?

Tough one buddy, I'll still go with Germany being that it's hands down my favorite team, but Holland is second right up, I love watching their style of play, the orange, pretty much love everything about Holland haha. So yeah I wouldn't mind seeing them win their first ever World Cup.

    How about you?

That's a tough call, but I'd quietly pull for my favorite nation.

It should be the best game of the tournament, which means we'll probably see something like a 1-1 draw go to shootout. :P

Had Germany read my post the would have won...lol. They got beat in midfield and paid the price the whole game, the outcome could have been far worse for germany, spain were firing blanks. Always said Spain would be a worthy rival, the germans had not faced a team who could keep the ball so much and dictate tempo. SPAIN to win the WC.
