For which team? If the Blazers, Kings, and Knicks don't want him, who does?

We'll be fine. We won 50 games despite 8 surgeries. Roy/Aldridge wins games. We learned that this season. That combo plus role players is a playoff team. And if Oden recovers and plays at the level he played at early last season, we'll be even better than that.

His NBA.com profile said three. Guess they didn't update it, eh?

Yea, I guess. Cuz he was drafted in 06. He's been in the league as long as Roy and Aldridge.

By the way, MARIS, I skipped the 7th grade and that color blind website depresses me. You mean to tell me that color blind people don't see the color red?? That's so sad. I'd never seen it shown like it did on that website.

Sergio was one of my favorite Blazers when he wore the Scarlet & Black. I was sad to see him go, but he and Nate were incompatable from a basketball perspective. I was always happy when he did well for Sacramento and the Knicks, except when he played us. It sounds like his agent is trying to force the Knicks' hand regarding re-signing him by expanding the universe of suitors. If El Chacho chooses to return to Spain, I'll root for him there as well.

The Knicks do want him, and the Kings did until their players played better than expected.

As I posted in this thread, the Knicks want him (he was taking away the starting job of Duhon), but want to wait till they sign FAs to see how much money is left over. The European teams normally sign their players now, so Sergio may take one of their offers, or he may keep them waiting all summer for word from the Knicks. See my posts in this thread. I wrote only about his time with the Knicks, not the Kings.

The Kings traded for him because they thought they'd have minutes for him. But then Udrih stepped up (possibly because of Sergio's arrival, a rival European). With Udrih's sudden improvement upon seeing Sergio (and the other guard Evans doing better than expected and winning Rookie of the Year), Sergio dropped a notch in the guard hierarchy and became expendible.

Can we please get back on topic? About how MARIS61 has NEVER been right in his talent evaluations. :)

They paint the bottom of pools black, too.

I see the ocean every day and it doesn't appear blue, it appears greenish brown most of the time. It's blue when there is some sort of algae in it, though. Doesn't matter what color the sky is.

In Maui, the ocean appears a rich royal blue color.

Not at all, I was spot on with that one. Nate McMillan agreed with me BTW, calling Viktor the ONLY player on the roster who knew how to correctly play all 5 positions defensively and offensively.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
I'm not a huge Sergio fan, but I'd take him over Ammo.

As some objective data, Rodriguez's career PER is double Morrison's. It's not that Rodriguez is good...Morrison is just THAT bad.

Amusing that Americans consider the NBA to be the pinnacle of success in professional basketball, not understanding the absolute love of "the game of basketball" players have in Europe.

Most find it's not worth the discrimination they face nor the years spent away from their families, friends and homelands simply to prove to some dumb American fans that they can do it.

Their fans in Europe already know they're the best, and the game is far more exciting and creative than the worn-out, over-officiated game of the NBA. The pay is better too.

As for Viktor, he proved beyond any doubt he was NBA caliber, starting for the Blazers, earning praise from coaches around the league and playing the best defense on the anal-rapist most fans have ever seen.

which is why their best players end up here, while our washed up has-beens and never weres, and can't let it goes go over there.

Viktor proved he could start on one of the worst teams in the NBA. Good for him.
