    was just a suggestion but it makes it hard to dig to find relevant threads vs meltdown threads.

    and os the flipside is, ill never understand those that cant just complain about something in the relevant thread and then move on…

    Not to be a jerk, but... I don't care.

    He is an awesome player but he's not good enough to get a team with pretty good role players around him into the second round. I don't think he's going to be an active part of a good Blazers team again.

    Yep. I haven't been that active here (in a while) but the last year or so I think most of the time I've come in and said we should trade Dame before he gets too old rather than being mired in mediocrity.

    In terms of age, absolutely. ;)

    I actually think he's a better player than Roy or Rasheed, obviously, and I think that he might be better than Clyde. Not as good as peak/healthy Walton, but that was so brief that it's hard to compare the two.

    BUT... we didn't try to rebuild around any of those guys. Most superstars basically has one shot with a given franchise (in terms of a core around him) and then they need to go somewhere else to be plugged in elsewhere. Someone like LeBron is of course the exception, partly because he's SO good and partly because he was so young when he started.
