What does Robin do? Block shots, box out, and make smart defensive plays. I see no reason why Brook couldn't do those things. He's arguably already a better rim protector than Robin. However, I've never seen any evidence that Robin can produce on the offensive end to the degree that Brook does. Even when they played together, Brook was clearly the superior offensive player. No reason to think otherwise now.

Brook isn't asked to support a superior offensive player. If he were, I believe he would be able to alter his game as necessary.

Brook Lopez and it isn't even close. If we had Brook on this team, our championship window would be open for 5-7 years.

It would be cool if we could combine them like BrundleFly.

Agreed, or put another way Robin's skills are easier to replace than Brook's. If we had Brook we'd have a low post threat AND 3 shooters for all 48.

We'd basically have the new version of Duncan-Robinson.

    That's a bit of a stretch.

Bump! So any production Robin gives us at all will be better than his brother for the rest of the season. Ya, I think I'd still take Robin.

In an ideal world, I'd love to have both of the Lopez bros...offense-defense..what a combo to sub in and out of games. I remember them together in Stanford and Brooke was the starter but Robin was the defender. These guys would be an awesome twin towers.
