Kind of like Alex Jones is "just a performer, playing a role" when he's on trial?

Its sad when a person cannot have civil discussion with respect with someone they disagree with.
And its sad when a person can’t accept they could be wrong about something. We used to teach kids these two principles as its part of education.

no one wants discussion. Everyone wants war. Problem is i think society is naive to what war would look like. Seeing it on tv is not like having it in your back yard or on your front doorstep…

Weve become a spoiled society thinking violence is a better answer than what we currently have (that can be improved upon if we just communicate) and that somehow life will be better with some civil war or world war.
Cause lets get real. If we have a civil war, allies will have to choose sides and it will become a world war.
Our short term memory, fast food drive through, lifestyle has afforded us the memory loss of the times of war and how life is for a country in the midst of a civil war.
Its nuts to me that people are willing to let emotions rule and not communicate respectfully, when there is no direct threat to life at hand. But would instead not communicate, and just create that real threat instead…

I want to communicate. I try. There is no middle ground to be had it seems with most. There is one side or the other.

The country basically is in a civil war.

But, that is what the corporations and the rich want. That's what the people in charge want. If we are at each other's throats, we can't team together to go after them and hold them accountable.

This country is more divided than I have ever seen in my life time. Doesn't seem like it will get better anytime soon.

I makes me angry. All the violence and the hate. It's hard to leave emotions out of it.

Hi my name is Calvin and I’m angry. (Hi Calvin)

You might have been called a racist supporter because you come across as supporting trump and trump is racist. It seems all the racist proud boy pussy types are Trumpers. So if you support that side you run the risk of being labeled the same. Life’s not fair is it

we are nowhere close to a real civil war. And i think that's part of the problem. Most people don't really understand what a true civil war would entail. We do not live in a constant national martial law. We don't have civil militias infiltrating neighborhoods, confiscating homes and land for resources…

This idea we are in a civil war is so far from reality and i believe its because we have had it so easy for so long, we think what we have now is soooo bad and we have nooo clue how bad life can be.
Life isnt going to be easy for all, but we don't make it hard for everyone by creating a war because we haven't solved the problems of the few that struggle.

It will not get better in our lifetimes you are correct. This is it. Thanks to the last four years. There’s no turning back while we are alive.

I can be wrong about what kind of defense Portland should play, what kind of trades they should make, a strategy at work, how to raise my kids, a lot of things. I’m pretty confident in my stance on Trump and what he’s done to the country. I’m pretty sure I’m spot on.

calling out asshole posts as asshole posts doesn't constitute a trump supporter
But i don't expect your red eyes to see anything beyond what you have hatred for and whatever you deem associated to it in your red filled head.
    Talk about tds…

not worth anymore back and forth with you.. your incapable of rational conversation without angry condescension.. epitome of society biggest problem.
Overly judgmental about every damn thing every damned day.

It cant be healthy, mentally or physically to be so angry all the time?

I mean, day in and day out its rant and rant. Regardless of whether its all trump based or over a various amount of different issues, its hate this… talk down to that… ridicule him…make fun of that…

It cant be healthy…and you aren't the only one around like this I'm mildly concerned about…

because of polarizing behavior and lack of compromising communication.
Do you really want to be searching on a daily basis for food for your child?

Think it through. It does not end well. There is no outcome from war that provides something better than what we currently have.

I'm angry too Calvin. Im upset by all of this hate and violence.

I know OB. He's a good dude. He's stuck in a tough place politically. He's a conservative. He fell for Trump's bullshit the first time around, but he doesn't support Trump anymore and what he has seen in means of the violence and Hate. In fact you and I have more in common with him in than you think.

Think of it like a venn diagram. The extremists from the left and right on either side with everyone else stuck in the middle.

The last 4 years are what was always going to happen by allowing the Democrats and Republicans to accept bribes.

They’ve been taking bribes since George Washington. The country has fallen apart because of 2016-. Because one man has emboldened millions and given power to awful humans. Our entire political landscape is permanently changed.

And I'm not advocating for it. I don't want us as a country to get there. I'm just saying we are the closest we have been since the 1st civil war.

There are alot of people out there who want it. A growing number and that shit is scary. And it's sad because we are all Americans and we are finding enemies in each other. Our true enemies don't have to destroy us because we are destroying ourselves. Then we put ourselves at risk.

Its what Russia is doing to Ukraine. Surrounding them with their best weapons and soldiers, causing destabilization from within in via stirring unrest, and then at the weakest point attacking.

Yes, but now it's all coming to a head (climate change, natural resources are dwindling, opportunity for growth is no longer easy to find), and we haven't fixed it yet.

George Washington wasn't long ago in the grand scheme of things...
