For the record, now I am pissed that they didn't just tell us yesterday, maybe they were getting a second opinion since it's "small" but kinda shitty to make us wait and pretty shitty that it took a reporter this long to get that info.

Would it be churlish to speculate that we will not see the kid on the court again this season?

According to some Uber eats drivers I know, any damage and they always get a second opinion

    Lol. Well-oiled machine in action!

What a damn shame though. Considering our history, this is just brutal.

At least I don’t feel as bad about missing summer league this year.

I'm worried of the extent of the tear. If it needs surgery, this could take a while to come back from.

Melo had the same injury while with the Knicks at the end of his free agent year and it healed in the offseason. Reading about it again and his re-evaluation came a month after it was diagnosed, so I wonder why only 10-14 days for Sharpe. Maybe it’s more minor. I also think AD played through a torn labrum for years.

Serious question - what are the odds we have the least productive player in the 2022 lotto?

and on the other end of the spectrum, paul george, lu dort, pascal siakam, and nas little also had to get surgery to repair their tears and were out for extended periods of time.

If I'm rookie and get drafted by Portland I'm just going to announce my retirement and save myself the grief. I wonder if he's interested in dentistry.
