<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Mr.Wade:</div><div class="quote_post">Shape's jus tjealous cause Miami's doing better than L.A.... We traded our best player to the Heat, so I know it's going to take two or three seasons to recover from that. I'm not jealous, I actually like the Heat and a lot of their players, Eddie Jones, Wade, and Haslem. I'm just not a fan of Shaq the way he's handled being traded and taking cheap shots at Jerry Buss and the Laker franchise. Shaq had a lot of support, and more fans wanted him to stay instead of Kobe. But after Shaq openly spoke out about the Laker franchise his following has lost a lot of support and people now see how selfish he really is. He turned down a 2 year 45M extension, because he felt he should be maxed out. Then he decides to take a quarter of the season off because he got hurt on company time. Now he comes to Miami, loses the weight he's been asked to lose the last two years with the Lakers, and says this is Dwayne Wade's team. If he showed this type of attitude in Los Angeles he would still be a Laker. He's a hypocrite.

^ If any player should get max its Shaq, so maybe the Lakers should of just paid the man. Personally i think they screwed themselves. I dont see Kobe working well with other players in the future...so it might become sort of a AI in Phillli situation...but we'll have to wait and see what happens cause i could be wrong.

A problem i have with your post though is that it makes the Laker management look like the victim and shaq the oger. I think it would of been very hard for shaq, still by far the most dominant player in the game, to go along with the laker's plans of handing the team over to kobe. It became obvious, before shaq asked for a trade, but after he was mad about the contract situation, that the lakers were putting Shaq in the backseat. And thats tough, he not only used to drive, he built the car!
    I dunno, i need sleep.

Basically, bad one on Shaq for going a bit too far on the insults, bad to kobe for directly/indirectly forcing out the best player and possibly best coach in the game, and bad on the lakers organization for not figuring out a way to still have shaq and having them coexist in the same way has shaq and wade are. End of the day though, shaq is still the same in Miami has he was in Laker-land. He's still unselfish, he's still dominant, he's still a leader....maybe Kobe could learn from Wade?? Possibly

Possibly</div>I agree, I felt the Lakers management also failed Shaq, namely Mitch Kupchak. I can rant about him all day long, but despite trading Shaq the franchise never took cheap shots at him. And for Shaq to take cheap shots at the franchise is a slap to the face of all the fans who supported him while he was with the Lakers.

Kobe can definitely learn from Wade, Kobe is no angel by any means. He could have handled the Shaq situation a lot better and took the torch when Shaq was ready to give it to him. Because as good as Kobe is, he'll never be the dominant force Shaq is. The difference is Kobe realizes that and admits he could have handled things better and that Shaq made his job easier.
