You take the best deal on the table. The rumor is that the Suns are looking for an athletic, versatile swingman who can take some of the ball handling load off of Nash to extend his career, Odom fits the description perfectly. You get the Lakers to throw in a pick or a decent filler, and call it a day. Who cares if you've done business with a rival...anything to better your team.
