I made the suggestion in the content thread and decided to lead by example. Ill update this thread throughout the year so we can audit the corrupt NBA, and more importantly, blame the refs for every loss.

Dviss opinions would be especially welcomed as a ref's insider perspective, and ill be the completely unbiased voice of reason.

    PRESEASON GAME 1 VS. KINGS

    visual notes:

A point of emphasis this year is not going under a shooter, yet we saw 2 no calls on cousins when he clearly went under a jump shooting Meyers leonard. The first time resulted in a minor sprained ankle which could have been far worse.

Blazers were called for 30 personals resulting in 28 free throw attempts for the dragqueens.

Mean while blazers got 16 attempts on 18 calls.

While the players may be shaking off some rust it's clear the refs are up to their corrupt antics, even before games mean anything.

    Go Blazers

Adam Silver, you should have expected us.

You just going to do it for the Blazers or other teams as well?

The refs let numerous traveling calls go (especially Rudy Gay), and they seemed inconsistent on legal/illegal screens. Aside from that, I thought they did a decent job for the most part, even ignoring a blatant flop.

There was a stretch of 5 out of 6 trips down the floor where the same official called horrific calls against the blazers. A couple where non contact shoulder flops. Another was a 2 foot jump stop by Harkless that was called a travel.

I'm sure the bad calls only go against the Blazers.

There was a little "game management" going on... lots of ticky-tacky calls once we got up 15 or so.

There's a lot of rules that leave too much up to the refs to decide if it's worth it or not.

The superstar calls are the worst ones of that type.

This is a blazer forum and I only have the 1 team league pass so blazers only. But I dont doubt many small markets get screwed.

Can anyone snipe that clip from the Trailblazers twitter of the ref falling down? "It's preseason for everyone..." or something. I'm at work, or I would.

I think that should be the gif that plays in every one of these threads. God it was funny.

The ref event lost his shoe when he fell down. then when he stood up he turned to trott down the court and turned smack into one of the ball boys who was mopping up where he had just fallen, it was quite comical

Cousins went under Leonard 3 times. The first time, he roll blocked him and got called for the foul. The 2nd time caused the sprained ankle and the 3rd time got a bark out of Meyers at the official who was standing 5 feet away.

You can only surmise what would have happened if the roles were reversed and Meyers kept coming under Cousins. That is one thing I really dislike about the NBA. A star player will get calls or not have calls made on them versus a young role player doing the exact same thing.

The Blazers would have won had the 4 point play not been overturned....and the late call that gave the ball to the kings after Cousins knocked it backwards out of bounds. (It may or may not have grazed the fingers of a certain Blazer) but the call on the floor was Blazer ball, and it clearly showed Cousins hand touching it, while it was hard to see weather a certain Blazer hand touched it. Call should have not been overturned. What is with this new deal with refs in Jersey calling games, what BS. Why Jersey? I can't help but to visualize theses "refs" as some bookies in a gambling parlor in Jersey or something.

On both of those, the replay was not shown on the jumbotron. Generally, that suggests to me that the call will not be going in our favor.
