Actually not sure yet. CONS...... % of my check will be gone. PROS......Retirement plan, health benefits and companies can't come into Oregon and lowball us on our day rates! Some events come through and offer us shit rates, no travel pay, no per diem......they can't do it to guys in Seattle, the bay area or LA bcause they are union....... and some people actually accept it.
My union dues are less than 5%. Racked up $250,000 in medical bills last year that netted me a total of $200 bucks. Unions are horrible!
