    Talk about misleading.

70% of all gun deaths in the US are suicides.

Another 15% are criminals killed by other criminals.

Another 5% are criminals killed in self-defense by police or armed citizens.

5,709,329 UNARMED Jews were murdered by their government in WWII.

Pretty sure Hitler wouldn't be so infamous if he'd had to face 5,709,329 ARMED Jews.

I hate the way everyone is treating this. Turning it into a talking point. I lost 2 friends in this. It's not a joke. It's not a false flag event. I am still crying over this.

The problem is he's not outraged. He doesn't give a shit what happened to a bunch of Oregonians. He has avoided our state like we've got the plague. He's been aching for this to happen so he can once again advance his disarm-the-citizenry agenda. He couldn't even hide his smirking satisfaction when making his already-written-and -aiting speech before he even knew the killer, the victims, the stated reason for murder, or the weapons used.

As always, he failed to address his total failure to provide a national mental healthcare plan to prevent these sick citizens from becoming murderers on his watch.

He took an oath to defend American Citizens right to be armed for self-defense. He took an oath to defend The Constitution, not dismantle it.

If you think he cares about the victims and their families as anything but pawns for his agenda, you're absolutely delusional.

This is on CNN almost 24/7. They're constantly talking about gun control debate.

The anti gun crowd uses these tragedies for political purposes every time.

I'm sorry if this is insensitive, but maybe you should just stop looking at this thread.

No, this is not about the president and your opinion about his intentions. That doesn't make me delusional Maris, it makes you paranoid

You know you could just step away from the computer. People are going to say what they're going to say.

I'm at a loss why they don't all move to Australia or Canada? They quote these countries like they're better places to live, so why not STFU and move there?

Or China, with a massively lower reported gun homicide rate? Surely it's a dandy place to live? 1.4 billion Chinese can't be wrong.

It's simple to move to Australia, if you're Caucasian. Not Caucasian, sorry. America is the only true melting pot in the world.

It's really hard to just step away from something like this. This is my home and I lost friends. I am still dealing with it. I am not trying to shape the debate. But I can't turn my eyes away.

nobody has to move anywhere because they have opinions. ..There are melting pots all over the globe. When a tragedy occurs, comparisons happen. I'm an American and having lived in China...they can be wrong, just like we can.

I am sure there are online forums that are support groups for those affected. There, they will probably have the answers you are looking for.

Chinas gun deaths may be low. But their throwing star deaths are at an all time high.

There are no answers for these things, just some folks looking for a supportive environment..I feel bad and it must feel worse to be so closely connected to the place this soon after it happened. handicapped problematic is welcome to express that here. He can use the ignore button whenever it seems appropriate until he's found some closure.

I think he meant that there are support groups that have forums that might have people who know better how to comfort you.

    Australia screens who moves there.

The thing is, if a country has a higher black/latino population, as stated they will have higher gun homicide rates.

I also believe whites are probably more prone to suicide by firearm, which is by far the leading cause of firearm deaths which skews these numbers when talking about "gun deaths". This comes back to a mental health issue which is probably more prevalent in caucasians since they are more likely to "buy in" to the psychiatrists and big pharma drugs.

I am sorry. Not trying to cause fights. It is just still a rough time for me. I'm not trying to lash out.
