In the 25 or so years that I've hoisted an American flag from a flagpole I've yet to encounter one of these commie pinko flag haters. Where are they? Where are the red, white and blue crayons? "Critical race theory" really just means "history as it happened, rather than history as written by the 'victors,' i.e. the slave-owners, bigots and their descendants." Why would anyone have a problem with that? Unless they agreed with those slave-owners and bigots of the past, but that doesn't describe anyone in this forum, I hope.

What the hell does this even mean? Boyle said in an emailed statement that suspending the reading, writing and math proficiency requirements while the state develops new graduation standards will benefit “Oregon’s Black, Latino, Latina, Latinx, Indigenous, Asian, Pacific Islander, Tribal, and students of color.”
Hard to say without a lot more information. I presume he means that the previous standards were culturally biased and thus led to an uneven playing field that unfairly made graduation harder for those communities. Whether or not that's the case requires, as I noted, a lot more knowledge of those standards and any studies of their effects.
Would you still feel that way if the standards are biased towards white students and the public schools want to change that?
