    As much as I am a fan of Wes, the Blazers had to let him go to fully commit to the new youth movement. Unsure of how he was going to come back from an injury that is known to end careers and with Aldridge off to buy cowboy boots, the Blazers made the right choice.

    I had the strangest dream last night that Wes showed up at a party here and wanted to return to Portland...then an old guy with him stole my guitar...this means I'm headed for msg board rehab

    That can't really be answer until we see if he returns to form. I as a GM, wouldn't have offered him that contact, but if he returns to his pre-injury form, he's worth it. But it seems he'd be like a very expensive spot up shooter.
