After a week of speculation regarding an Arsenal move for Everton’s Marouane Fellaini, the club has moved to dismiss speculation that the Belgian is set to leave. The story, which was yet another one of Wayne ‘Goal.com exclusive’ Veysey’s pieces which was picked up and run by the national press, claimed that Arsenal had submitted a club record bid of £22m for the midfielder. Not so it seems as today Everton confirmed [via the Liverpool Echo] that no bids have been received for the player.

Arsenal are ready for another La Liga raid as they weigh up a £10million move for exciting Real Sociedad midfielder Asier Illarramendi. According to the Daily Mail, Gunners manager Arsene Wenger has been greatly impressed with the 23-year-old this season and is leading the race to recruit him. Illarramendi is currently on international duty with the Spain Under-21s in Israel and is expected to be in the starting line up for the UEFA Euro U21 championships final against Italy on Tuesday evening.

Auxerre striker Yaya Sanogo says playing for Arsenal would be "an amazing adventure" after claiming he is set to sign for the Gunners in the off-season. The France youth international had spent a lengthy spell on the sidelines after suffering a major leg injury in 2010, although he is once more back on the fitness trail following his rehabilitation.

La Liga side Malaga are keen on Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner, according to Danish daily BT. It is believed that German tactician Bernd Schuster, who was appointed as the new manager of the Anchovies last week, has given his approval for the Spanish side to work to bring Bendtner to the club.

Arsenal's Costa Rican striker Joel Campbell may spend the upcoming season with Crystal Palace on loan.

Arsene Wenger will launch a £22million bid for Real Madrid striker Gonzalo Higuain this week. Arsenal boss Wenger is increasingly confident of landing the Argentinian star after Italian champions Juventus were put off when Real insisted their £18m valuation was nowhere near enough.

Dimitri Payet has reportedly decided he would prefer a move to Arsenal over Marseille as he looks to make his mark on the Premier League next season. Payet has starred for Lille since moving to the club in 2011, and as a result has received interest from a number of sides both locally and abroad. L'Equipe is reporting that Marseille have so far had a €8m bid turned down for the winger, with the offer not matching Lille's evaluation of their prized possession.

Arsenal have missed out on the signing of attacking midfielder Remy Cabella, who says he is staying with Montpellier next season. Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has been heavily linked to the player, who looked certain to leave the French outfit this summer, but it now looks as though he will stay.

Arsenal are apparently keen on Spain Under-21 star Asier Illarramendi, who currently plays for Real Sociedad. Illaramendi was a part of the side which won the under-21 European Championship last night by beating Italy 4-2, and is reportedly also being considered by Real Madrid as a long term replacement for Xabi Alonso. The 23-year-old made 32 league appearances for the Real Sociedad team that qualified for the Champions League last season, and has a £25.7million release clause in his contract, which runs until 2018.

Arsenal target Clement Grenier is set to sign a one-year contract extension at Lyon, according to reports from France. The 22-year-old recently spoke about a move away from the French club , with a move to North London among those being spoken of. However, L'Equipe reports that the midfielder could extend his current deal to June 2015 and therefore remain at his current club for another 12 months.

Today, Yaya Sanogo confirms his move to Arsenal following an impressive meeting with Arsene Wenger.

Beşiktaş have been linked with Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner according to the Daily Mail. The report came shortly after Beşiktaş Director of Football Önder Özen holding a press conference during which he told reporters that a €2.8 million offer - which could rise to €3.4 million - had been made for an unnamed foreign player.

Edinson Cavani's exit from Napoli could pave the way for a bid for Laurent Koscielny, according to reports in Italy. Barcelona and Bayern Munich have both recently shown an interest in the 27 year old - with his agent confirming as much - but reports today insist that he would not go to either side and would commit to the Gunners for next season.

Olympiacos have made a move to sign Arsenal midfielder Tomas Rosicky. The Czech, 32, has just one-year left to run on his current deal and the Greek champions have bid around £2million for this services, along with offering the Gunners star a lucrative three-year contract to leave north London.

Arsenal and Bacary Sagna are still in discussions regarding a new contract.

Arsenal shareholder Alisher Usmanov has called on the club to break the bank and sign Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney this summer.

Liga outfit Malaga have emerged as the new favourites to sign misfiring Arsenal front man Nicklas Bendtner this summer, according to reports in the Daily Mail.

Arsenal have agreed to sign striker Gonzalo Higuain to a £150,000-a-week deal after agreeing on a £22 million transfer fee with Real Madrid, reports David Kent of the Daily Mail.

The Gunners made a late move to bring the England international to the Emirates Stadium as Andy Carroll pondered his £100,000-a-week offer from the Hammers. The report claims Arsenal's enquiry was simply to find out exactly how much Liverpool wanted for Carroll, and they're understood to have backed out of talks when quoted figures around the £20m mark.

Real Madrid have identified Borussia Dortmund's German international midfielder Ilkay Gundogan as a key summer transfer target, according to reports on talkSport. The 22 year-old, Turkish-born star had a superb 2012-13 campaign, helping Jurgen Klopp's side reach the Champions League Final, and has been muted as a possible long-term replacement for Xabi Alonso.

According to the Daily Express, the latest player on the Londoners’ radar is Levante’s Ruben Garcia. The Spanish winger is just 19 years of age and is believed to be more than interested in moving to a club of the stature of Arsenal. The fee for the starlet is likely to be in the range of £8.5m, an amount that will be well within Arsenal’s reach, especially since they are widely touted to splurge heavily in the transfer market this term.

Arsenal target Etienne Capoue is in negotiations with Monaco over a move, according to reports in France. It was claimed after the event, that on deadline day in January, Arsenal made an approach to sign defensive midfielder Capoue.

Arsenal and Barcelona's hopes of signing Samir Handanovic have been dealt a huge blow, after Inter Milan bought out the remainder of his contract from Udinese. TalkSPORT reports how the 25-year-old goalkeeper had been heavily linked with a move away from San Siro this summer, with a host of top European clubs said to be interested in the Slovenia international's signature.

Swansea center back and Wales skipper, Ashley Williams, is widely tipped to shift clubs next season, and the odds are certainly favouring the Gunners as they look set to sign the powerful defender. The North London giants have been made the overwhelming favourites to sign on the 28 year old defender with Stan James offering 1.25 odds on that happening.

The Cobblers have not made an offer to 22-year-old former Arsenal winger Sanchez Watt. A report in the East Anglian Daily Times earlier this month claimed Town had spoken to the left-sided attacker, who spent time on loan at Colchester United last season.

Ajax have ruled themselves out of the running to sign Arsenal target Adam Maher. Arsene Wenger is a long term admirer of the AZ Alkmaar midfielder and could make a move this summer. Ajax have also pursued the 19-year-old, who has been linked with an exit from AZ in the transfer window. But Gunners legend Marc Overmars, now director of football at the Amsterdam giants, says their interest in Maher is now over.

Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund target Remy Cabella has taken to Twitter to pledge his future to current club Montpellier and end the speculation he is moving to north London.

Arsenal are allegedly lining up a £6m bid for Dinamo Zagreb youngster Tin Jedvaj. The Gunners are hoping to snap up the highly-rated defender after his proposed move to Roma broke down, according to The Sun. Jedvaj, 17, has already been called up to train with the Croatian senior squad and has been tipped to make his international debut soon.

Southampton have agreed a £10million fee with Celtic for Kenyan midfielder Victor Wanyama. The Saints are among a number of clubs interested in Waynama – including Arsenal, Liverpool and Inter Milan – and there are now likely to be a number of rival bids for him.

Arsene Wenger is lining up a £6million bid for Croatian wonder kid Tin Jedvaj. The Arsenal boss is keen to pounce after Italian giants Roma failed with a £5m bid for the Dinamo Zagreb defender just days ago. Jedvaj, 17, is the most highly-rated player from Croatia since midfielder Luka Modric.

Juventus are not yet out of the race to sign Arsenal target Gonzalo Higuain from Real Madrid, according to the club’s general director Giuseppe Marotta. Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez has sanctioned the sale of Gonzalo Higuain to Arsenal for a fee of £22million, talkSPORT understands. Higuain has already agreed personal terms with the Gunners and will become the north London club's record signing, subject to a successful medical.

Famed for his frugal approach to transfers in recent years, it seems Arsene Wenger is lining up another astute purchase with Portuguese newspaper Record reporting that we’re in for Sporting Lisbon goalkeeper Rui Patricio and they claim his purchase is ‘a top priority’ for the club this summer. We were heavily linked with the Portuguese No.1 back in March when it was reported that we’d had an £8.5m bid turned down with Sporting believed to be demanding well in excess of £10m. However, the Portuguese outfit have since found themselves in financial crisis and several key players are expected to be sold in cut-price deals this summer to balance the books, and it seems Wenger can smell another bargain in Patricio.

Arsenal have been boosted in their pursuit of AZ Alkmaar midfielder Adam Maher, after Dutch champions Ajax pulled out of the race to sign the highly rated youngster. The 19-year-old is believed to be a long-standing target for Arsene Wenger. The Gunners were expecting competition from the Amsterdam ArenA club for the player but talkSPORT confirms Ajax have withdrawn from the race. PSV Eindhoven is still expected to make a bid.

Sunderland have identified Arsenal goalkeeper Vito Mannone as a possible replacement for Simon Mignolet who is edging closer to joining Liverpool. The Daily Mail believe that Di Canio will approach Arsenal to see if they are willing to part with Mannone who is considered third choice at the Emirates behind Wojiech Szczesny and Lukasz Fabianski. Mannone, 25, has made just 15 appearances for Arsenal in his seven year spell at the club and it is highly unlikely that Gunners boss Arsene Wenger would stand in the way of the Italian leaving the club.

Arsenal are set for a busy week in the transfer market as the club prepare to follow up the signing of Real Madrid forward Gonzalo Higuain with Everton midfielder Marouane Fellaini. The Evening Standard reports that the Arsenal board are prepared to hand Wenger £23m in order to secure the services of Fellaini. The powerful midfielder has long been linked with a move away from Everton, with speculation increasing after it was confirmed that David Moyes would join Manchester United.

Johan Djourou is wanted by both Hamburg and Hannover.

Lyon insist they won’t consider selling their captain Maxime Gonalons this summer amid reported interest from Arsenal.

Arsenal have been put on high alert over the availability of French midfielder Yann M’Vila after being told that he may be on the move again this summer, talkSPORT reports.

Arsenal target Tin Jedvaj is the subject of a reported £6m bid from the Gunners, but the defender’s agent Zoran Ban claims a deal to join AS Roma is more likely.

Arsenal have made Marouane Fellaini a contract offer as they set their sights on sealing a deal for the Everton midfielder. The Gunners, who have already activated the Belgian’s €25.5 million release clause, are believed to have proposed to his representatives a starting salary of €82,000-a-week.

Arsenal are monitoring highly rated Greek defender Kyriakos Papadopoulos.

Arsenal are willing to follow up their prospective £22million signing of Gonzalo Higuain from Real Madrid with an audacious £20m bid for Wayne Rooney - with Arsene Wenger keen on playing Manchester United’s England star in an attacking midfield role behind the Argentina striker.

Swansea City captain Ashley Williams is keen to leave the Welsh club this summer with Arsenal his preferred destination.

Hamburg are keen to bring Arsenal defender Johan Djourou back to the Bundesliga. The Switzerland defender spent the second half of last term on loan with Hannover, who are also reportedly keen on keeping him for another season.

Arsenal target Samir Handanovic is being lined up for a move to Barcelona next summer. The Inter Milan goalkeeper has been linked with both the Spanish giants and Arsene Wenger's side after a superb first season at the San Siro.

Arsenal target and Montpellier playmaker Younes Belhanda has been put on the market for £12.8m. Belhanda would prefer a move to England and both North London clubs are looking in his direction.

The Daily Mail are claiming that Arsenal have submitted a £2.5m bid for the Le Harve fullback Benjamin Mendy but that the Ligue 2 side want Arsenal to double that fee before they will sell the player.

St Etienne midfielder Joshua Guilavogui has emerged as a transfer target for Arsenal, with AS Monaco and Wolfsburg also keeping tabs on the Frenchman, according to L’Equipe.

Arsenal had a £12.7m January bid rejected by Barcelona for striker David Villa, according to Catalan source MundoDeportivo.

Swansea City defender Ashley Williams has been linked with a transfer to either Arsenal or Liverpool since the season ended, but his agent has indicated that he is still waiting for an actual bid.

Juventus are set to end their pursuit of Gonzalo Higuain after failing to persuade the player and will now be switching attention to Carlos Tevez instead. Despite reports that the Argentine star had nearly completed a deal to join the Gunners, the player’s father made it clear yesterday that Juventus had also tabled an offer for the striker.

A throwaway line in a Sky Sports News segment on Tuesday has been picked up by Arsenal fans who want to believe that the Gunners will sign Marouane Fellaini from Everton this summer. Arsenal have reportedly met the midfielder’s release fee of £22 million.

Marseille have finally agreed a deal to land Arsenal target Dimitri Payet from Lille. The two French clubs have been at loggerheads over a fee for the 26-year-old winger for some time, but they now look to have reached an agreement.

Arsenal may follow up their interest in coveted Celtic midfield player Victor Wanyama after the Kenyan’s expected move to Southampton fell through, reports the Daily Mirror.

Liverpool’s signing of Sunderland goalkeeper Simon Mignolet could result in Arsenal resurrecting their interest in the Reds’ Spain international star Pepe Reina. The London Evening Standard report that the 30 year-old custodian will hold talks with Brendan Rodgers about his future, after it was cast into doubt by the capture of Mignolet, and given the unlikely scenario of two senior goalkeepers playing for a single place in the side at Anfield, Reina’s sale seems inevitable. Barcelona were said to be interested but Victor Valdez has pledged himself to the club until the end of his contract.

Arsenal target and Montpellier winger Younes Belhanda looks to be heading away from the French club, after the club authorities confirmed they have had firm offers for the gifted star.

Barca starlet Gerard Deulofeu is being chased by Arsenal, *****, Chelsea, Liverpool AND Everton. The Premier League big boys are all looking at a possible loan deal to sign the 19-year-old Spanish wonderkid, who has slipped down the pecking order following the arrival of Neymar.

Arsenal reportedly made an offer for Lyon midfielder Clement Grenier earlier this week. According to French publication Le10 Sport, the Gunners' bid was less than €10m and was rejected outright by the Ligue 1 club.

Sanchez Watt has signed a two year deal with Colchester United where he will join former Arsenal youth Craig Eastmond who has already signed for the U’s.

Vito Mannone is close to signing for Sunderland in a deal that will see him leave Arsenal after an eight year spell at the club. The Italian stopper joined as a teenager from Atalanta in 2005 but has failed to convince Arsene Wenger he’s a long-term candidate for the number 1 position.

Arsenal target Maxime Gonalons will not join Arsenal, according to Sky Sports. The French midfielder had been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League, but Lyon are keen to keep hold of the 24-year-old.

Arsenal are reportedly determined to fend off interest from Roma and complete a deal for Brazil goalkeeper Julio Cesar next week.
